First comment from KHOODEELAAR! on Steve Norris' 'disagreement' with Boris Johnson:

Steve Norris could have fooled genuine opponents of the crassly conceived Crossrail Big Business scam. Your headline to his plug for Crossrail is misleading. As are the contents of his by-lined promotion. Both do a disservice to the cause of accountability over use and misuse of relevant powers affecting the needs and rights of ordinary people in London. You should drop Norris and bring in reports and comments from across London from people who are not employed by or ingratiating to the current holder of the post of mayor in the name of London. Had Norris been bothered about democratic accountability he would have made pro-democratic intervention without pay while the Crossrail Bill was being massaged and passaged through a pliant parliament. Norris lost political credibility because he failed to prioritise democratic and ethical use of powers. With him being an adviser on transport, it is inconcievable that the people of London will get the ethical or the economic advice that are due. Boris cannot be worried by whatever Norris may say by way of ‘disagreement’ when it is more than even Boris could say about peddling HIS position.
