Khoodeelaar! Organiser continues to update our diagnostics over the crossrail peddlers’ ‘ire’ at the carefully delivered indication by Justine greening to the effect that in the event of the uk con party being in government position after the scheduled 6 may 2010 election the [big business agenda scam] crossrail might be scrapped on account of costs… far from the indication being ‘naïve’ as some BLIARing elements have sought to dismiss it as being, Justine greening’s comments convey a more authentic position [at least as things stand at the movement of her statement] that David Cameron holds on the matter than she has been given credit for. Why are they dismissing her comment? Is it their residual sexist preoccupation or is it their naivety about the economy and economic planning in a mixed economy, which is veering fast towards a mainly planned one by default? For as long as we have been campaigning against the crassly conceived scam crossrail, we have demonstrated the evidential fantasy of it. As long as we have been doing that, we have been asking the peddlers to counter our demonstrations. We have invited facts, we have invited substantiation and none has been forthcoming. We have put our challenge to the stooged mps. We have done so to the stooged peers in the house of sleaze. Neither part of the palace of ghostsminster has proffered a shred of proof. So why does Andrew Adonis keep on about crassrail? Why does every single one of the political supplicant operating a career plan of their own pop up and screech a scripted screed in the direction of anyone, everyone who dares to demand substantiation for the wasting of £billions of UK public money for the Crossrail scam?

" Based on the published records of the peddlers of the Big Business agenda scam Crossrail over the past seven years [since June 2003 when they were stooged by Big Business to stage the series of lobby stunts around Tony Blair] and in the context of the universally objectively recognised problem of deficit that the UK has incurred [as at 19 April 2010] and in view of the paucity of evidence of demand from ordinary people for a line approximating to the description of Crossrail [as set out by the 'Crossrail Bill' ['Act' since July 2008] as contrasted with the highly pressing demands for the repair and maintenance of the existing tube and rail networks serving London and the adjoining areas, the utterances you attribute to Tessa Jowell again reinforce the conclusion that she remains empty upstairs s and that she will utter any script so long as it would keep her in a post ‘in Government’ no matter how inappropriate, wasteful and counterproductive.

Furthermore, in view of the undeniable evidence of the overwhelming majority of the employees working on the 2012 Games Hosting preparations being of mainly ‘Eastern European and other overseas origins’, any suggestion by Tessa Jowell or her co-peddlers to the effect that the twin projects, 2012 Games Hosting and the Crossrail scam were about creating ordinary jobs for ordinary 'indigenous' UK residents can only be treated as typically farfetched, preposterous and irresponsible.

Viewed against Tessa Jowell’s record of utterances, any concern about the suitability of Crossrail to the UK comity is only to be welcomed.

As Simon Jenkins set out in the EVENING STANDAD a year ago this month, Boris Johns should ‘kill off’ Crossrail and address the cash-starved London tube network.

Justine Greening is not naïve and she has not been irresponsible on this occasion either.   "

KHOODEELAAR! organiser challenges UK G Brown's claims on the REUTERS web site carrying the Institute of Fiscal Studies [=IFS] ‘findings’ on 13 years of Blaired ‘government' now fronted by G Brown'

UK has underperformed peers on public finances-IFS

Sun Apr 18, 2010 7:01pm EDT

LONDON, April 19 (Reuters) - Britain's public finances have not performed as well as comparable countries under 13 years of Labour Party rule, a think-tank said on Monday.

The opposition Conservatives seized on the report by the independent Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS) to criticise Labour's handling of the economy ahead of an election on May 6. Labour defended its record, saying it was nurturing recovery.

The budget deficit is running at more than 11 percent of GDP and how to bring it down without wrecking a fragile recovery is a key issue in a closely fought campaign.

"By 2007 Labour had reduced public sector borrowing slightly below the level it inherited from the Conservatives. And more of that borrowing was being used to finance investment rather than the day-to-day running costs of the public sector," the report said.

"But over the same 10 years the vast majority of other leading industrial countries reduced their borrowing by more than the UK. And most also reduced their debt by more," it added.

"So while the UK public finances were in better shape when the financial crisis began than they were when Labour came to power, the UK was in a worse position relative to most comparable countries."

Labour Prime Minister Gordon Brown, who was finance minister for a decade from 1997-2007, has defended his stewardship of the economy against opposition criticism that he should have done more to improve finances when the economy was flourishing.

Looking at the period since the credit crisis, which peaked in 2008, the IFS detected a similar pattern. "Once again, the UK public finances have underperformed relative to comparable industrial countries," it said.

The IFS said that slightly better figures published by the Treasury in last month's budget might have some impact, but not change the overall picture

"It is unlikely to affect the broad conclusion that the UK will have experienced one of the largest increases in structural borrowing through the recession and thus will have one of the weakest fiscal positions in 2010."

Philip Hammond, an opposition Conservative economic spokesman, attacked Brown's record.

"This is a damning verdict on Gordon Brown's economic mistakes which left Britain badly prepared for the longest and deepest recession since the war," he said.

A Labour Party spokesman said debt had risen because of the "biggest global economic crisis in modern times."

"The extra support we've put into the economy is working," he said. Recovery is beginning and we've seen far fewer businesses fail, fewer homes repossessed and lower unemployment than predicted."

The “Labour Party spokesman” as quoted “biggest global economic crisis in modern times [.]” cannot be talking about London’s wasteful Crossrail. It is a debts-causing diversion of vital funds away from other transport economic priorities in and around London. The problem with Gordon Brown’s over the top promotion of ‘global’ factors as justification for all unwise spending is that it cannot be justified. When Brown was diagnosed as having been incompetently ‘prudent’, his claim lost its foundation. Time now to distinguish between global and domestic factors. Can Brown start to behave prudently?

KHOODEELAAR! Telling UK G Brown to show he can be competently prudent. This is in response to the Brown-fronted UK Bliared regime spokesman making yet another false statement explaining the UK economic state in view of the Institute of Fiscal Studies Report. Khoodeelaar! is challenging UK Brown to show why Crossrail should not be scrapped...Especially as there is no truth whatever in any even the slightest suggestion that Crossrail had to be funded as an ‘answer’ to ‘global economic downturn and related factors’

Khoodeelaar! diagnostic commendatory examining the role of the mainstream media in Britain as well as that of the ‘mainstream’ political parties. And that of the official Monster Raving Loony Party. All in the context of our dissection of the leis for Big Business Crossrail scam that are still being perpetrated. Even at a time when the DAILY MAIL GROUP has obtained reported evidence of the then USA administration, fronted by Gerald Ford ion the White House, being on the verge of carrying out a ‘bail out’ of the UK economy in 1976 when Jim Callaghan was in denial about the escalating debts and wasteful spending by the UK regime.  Earlier today [Sunday 18 April 2010], the Big Business MIC agenda Crossrail scam –peddlers in the Bliar party bureaucracy confessed to be taking the loonies seriously. In a report by the BBC, the Bliared party spokesperson ‘said the Conservatives may be the “real Loonies” ’. This was in apparent response to the launching of the Monster Raving Loony Party manifesto. In the lopsided world of make-believe that comes into being during ‘election time’, it is quite possible that the UK Conservative party may be the ’real loonies’. It is also possible that the lunatic policies on transport are not be confined to the loonies in one party only but in all the ‘mainstream ones’. How? Because they are being ‘confirmed or denied’ depending on their usefulness in enticing voters to the given parties. This situation proves once again that CrossRail is crass. Even when they are apparently commenting on the official Monster `Raving Loony Party Manifesto complete with their water bikes on the Thames display, the so-called ‘sane’ parties are showing their dishonesty and crassness.

[We reproduce the texts of the BBC online report http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/election_2010/england/8628230.stm below this KHOODEELAAR! commentary].

We reproduce below our own rebuttal in response to the latest lying propaganda for Crossrail that the INDEPENDENT newspaper ‘group’ [if it can be called that after its ‘sale’ for £1.00 recently because of the newspaper’s admission that it was bankrupt] had carried. At first they had published our comment on their ‘Live Journal’ site. Hours later, our comment was removed or could no longer be accessed from the Independent’s web site.

Why had the INDEPENDENT removed the comment?

Because we had pointed out their lying ‘journalism’. This was not the first time that the Independent had showed that it was nothing of the kind. “Independent’ is the last thing that the Independent is. Especially when we showed up their ignorance of the subject they were apparently reporting about.

This seems to be a constant feature of Crossrail peddlers. As we showed on 15 October 2009 how the Lib Dems’ over-the-top-hyped ‘Treasury Spokesman’ Vince Cable had been caught clueless about the Crossrail scam. Appearing at a Party event held in Bethnal Green, Vince Cable was caught unplugged from the relevant parts of his careerist brains when asked to comment on Crossrail. In one utterance he said that eh thought Crossrail was a good scheme and then turned to his ‘local’ hosts and asked if Crossrail ‘came through here’ [Bethnal Green/Tower Hamlets].

How could he be the Lib Dems’ Treasury Spokesman?

Unless of course the treasury is in a fantasy land and he is not expected to know what he is talking about.

What kind of nightmare scenario dies that conjure up? NO wonder that the BBC is taking ‘precautions’ and not banking so fully on the Lib Dems. Hence their report on the Monster Raving Loony Party.

This takes the examination of the Crossrail-peddling ’mainstream media’ back to the 1980s when Andreas Whittam-Smith had been associated with the launch of the INDEPENDENT newspaper’s inaugural advertising slogan: ‘It is. Are you?’. The ‘it’ being the INDEOPENDENT and ‘is’ being an assertion of the paper’s independence. We can find clear evidence of the rejection of that over-ambitious claim . The rejection was put to Andreas Whittam-Smith by the organiser of the KHOODEELAAR! campaign at the time of the original claims about the then newly-launched newspaper the INDEPENDENT. Whittam-Smith never showed the necessary ethics or morality to confess to the fabrication that he was part of . It seems that despite the change-over the Independent has not changed its dishonest orientation.  Here is what we wrote on Sunday [18 April 2010] to the INDEPENDENT concerning their latest hype for Big Business Crossrail:

      I quote from your report:

"Government officials passed the business plan, believing it provides value for money  "

Two components stand out: "Government officials" and "believing it provides value for money".

You don’t say what, if any, methodology was used and if it was a universally objective one. You also do not say that ‘Crossrail’ was contrived by ‘govt officials’ who were then fronted by the then Transport Minister [Secretary of State] Alistair Darling [now UK finance Minister] in February 2005 when he formally put the “Crossrail Bill” before the House of Commons. I have asked Darkling on more than 100 separate occasions to explain the economic value, the economic relevance of Crossrail IN THE CONTEXT of transport in London. Darling has been silent. I have also challenged him on the £100 Million he gave to the then CLRL under the doubly fictitious Section 6 of the Railways Act 2005 [another contrivance that had been sneaked through as a device to mislead the public and abuse public funds when financing cabals of essentially unaccountable, sleazy and dishonest privatising operatives in it only to enhance the profiteering cause while looting the public purse under a plausible cover of 'big infrastructure project'].

      [QUOTING the BBC report]

Floating bikes would aid London - Monster Raving Loony

Mr Knapp says more canals must be built to accommodate the bikes
The Monster Raving Loony Party in London has launched its manifesto - calling for floating bicycles to ease the city's transport problems.
Knigel Knapp, parliamentary candidate for Hackney North and Stoke Newington, said people could then cycle on canals.
A Labour spokesman said the Conservatives may be the "real Loonies" while the Liberal Democrats said only they would protect public transport.
The Tories said a Labour win would mean years of "grim" travel in London.
Mr Knapp, who calls himself shadow minister for big fibs and blatant lies, demonstrated the "Loony Bike" on the River Thames near Parliament on Sunday.
He said: "What with global warming everyone might have to use them when the sea levels rise.

We might have to build a few more canals and that can only be good for the unemployment figures
      Knigel Knapp
"In the meantime we might have to build a few more canals and that can only be good for the unemployment figures."
But a Labour spokesman said: "Are the Monster Raving Loonies committed to Crossrail? If so perhaps they are more serious than the Lib Dems or Tories.
"The Tories have already admitted they may scrap Crossrail. That would be a disaster for London and risk thousands of jobs.
"I am not sure who is the real Monster Raving Loony Party."
The £16bn Crossrail project would link counties west and east of London by train.
Conservative shadow minister for London Justine Greening said earlier in the week that although the party was in favour of it, it could not guarantee the project.
      'Clear choice'
Responding to the Loonies' plans, a Conservative spokesman said: "A Conservative government would have the energy to deliver the changes needed to improve our transport. For London that means we support Crossrail.
"Londoners face a clear choice of five more grim years of travel under Labour or change with the Conservatives."
A Lib Dem spokesman said: "The Liberal Democrats are the only party committed to protecting public transport in the capital, to ensure that we move towards a green, sustainable future.
"We will reverse Labour's inflation-busting increases in fares and ensure that regulated fares rise by less than inflation each year."
The Monster Raving Loony manifesto also calls for buildings to be fitted with air conditioning units facing outward to combat global warming.
They demand that all politicians be permanently painted the colour of the party they represent.
A list of confirmed candidates for Hackney North and Stoke Newington:
      Diane Abbott, Labour
      Keith Angus, Liberal Democrat
      Darren Caplan, Conservative
      Matt Sellwood, Green Party
Knigel Knapp, Monster Raving Loony Party
