Over 2 years ago, KHOODEELAAR! pointed out Crossrail hole scam-peddler 'baroness' Jo Valentine was abusing her position as 'peeress'!!!
2 years and 17 days ago! KHOODEELAAR! Fingered Jo Valentine and said she was abusing UK House of 'Peers'!

Khoodeelaar! NO to Crossrail hole plot, No to Crossrail hole attacks, No to Big Business, No to Big Business tools, agents and operatives engaged in the destabilisation of the community and the ordinary people in the Brick Lane and Whitechapel London E1 Area
Crossrail hole plot-plugger Jo Valentine is abusing her position in the ‘Upper House’ in promoting the CRASSrail plot.
But then that is what most so-called ‘parliamentarians’ do when they appear to be speaking out on issues that do not get raised by any objectively verifiable demand on the parts of the ordinary public.
Jo Valentine’s latest plug, in which she shamelessly asks for places like Birmingham to make huge sacrifices so that the CRASSrail project in LONDON [which she parades in words mouthed by her co-CRASSrail plugger Ken Livingstone] can be given public funding, is not at all a new one.
She has been abusing her position for CRASSrail all over the place.
She is very much an extension of the Big Business and the City of London conglomeracy which is desperate to get its hand on the mega “Billion of public money that it plots to rob via the CRASSrail plot.
In May last year, Jo Valentine got a plug , couched in almost identical terms to her latest one made in the House of Lords, for CRASSrail in a so-called letter in the London Financial Times.
We immediately challenged her on the assertion.
She failed to substantiate her then assertions and plugs for CRASSrail.
We do not have any hesitation in saying again that Jo Valentine is abusing her position, is not being honest about the CRASSrail pilot and is not entitled to be allowed to abuse her position as a member in the House of Lords which despite pretensions to the contrary, is stuffed full of devious time servers like Jo valentine. Many a crook has been given a platform by Blair in the even more discredited House of Ludes than had been the case before Blair got HIS hand on the 'donations' line!
It is as scandal that she has not been challenged by either a Member of the UK Parliament or by another member in the House of Lureds. Or by any mainstream news commentator.
Khoodeelaar! will, as has been the case on CRASSrail for the past THREE years of campaign against the Crassrail plot, step into the breach and prepare a longer, updated questionnaire for Jo Valentine to address in the next 48 hours.
Quoting Khoodeelaar! organiser Muhammad Haque’s Question and demand for substantiation as put to Jo Valentine on Tuesday 16 May 2006 – Jo Vale3jkntien failed to answer the question or provide an iota of evidence to substantiate her plug for CRASSRAIL as made in a so-called letter put in her name in the Financial Times

Dear Jo Valentine
This is the first response to your letter as published by the Financial Times and to ask you to please substantiate your assertions about 'business' being in 'discussions' about funding Crossrail.
Please cite accessible published documentary evidence or other comparable evidence that can be objectively verified, bearing in mind the fact that the consistent pressure from Business has been for the PUBLIC sector to fund the Crossrail scheme. And that the main ‘motivation’ has been and remains for ‘Business’ to make profit at the expense of the public purse. That is why the CrossRail Bill is called CRASS-rail Bill, as it contains no evidence to support the key plugs made for it by those who have promoted it over the past many years.
Please note that we are scheduled to publish a criticism of your claim on our web sites today Tuesday 16 May 2006
Our view, as stated to Graham Duncan in the telephone communication a few minutes ago, is that your claim is not based on the truth of the conduct and the agenda of Business and that it is just a plug.
If you disagree, please show on what evidence.
Yours faithfully

The KHOODEELAAR! analysis of the entirety of the Crossrail package is, has been and remains this: that it is a crassly conceived Bill, plan, scheme. That it is crass in that it has no rational basis. No sound economic basis. That it does not have the support of independently thinking specialists on the transport economy of the UK. That it is not a sound plan is shown in all the major investigative studies that have been carried out into the railway aspect of the UK economy in the recent past. And that someone so dedicated to Big business ideology, as the British Airway’s recently ‘retired’ chief executive Rod Eddington, could not find anything at all in the Crassrail Bill to commend it, proves beyond any reasonable doubt that the plan is worthless. And we are only talking here in the capitalistic, market economic context. We have not even begun to question the bases and assumptions of the market economic models. That at best the CRASSRAIL ‘plan’ needs to be scrapped and a fully fledged revision made of it, is the most generous offer that we can make to its promoters. They must stop wasting the hundreds of millions of £ public money that they are wasting, or rather, putting into the preparatory, predatory [to grab the defenceless public purse] pockets of Big Business conglomerates... To see ONCE AGAIN the desperation of the peddlers of this CRASSrail plot, view HERE a report being carried in a Birmingham [UK] based web site the shows that shallowness of the promoters of the Crassrail plot. This idiotic plugger of the CRASSrail Bill in the UK House of Lords has been a deeply morally compromised and wrongfully active, illegally benefiting insider trader and self-seeker. Called Jo Valentine…. The Crossrail plot promoting Crassness and idiocy of Barrenness Jo Valentine, one of the most idiotic couriers of dishonour in the ‘House of Ludes’ doing the plugs for CRASSrail.

KHOODEELAAR! TOLD YOU SO! CRASSLY irresponsible lobby group 'London First' was a stooged body acting for Big Business CRASSRAIL!

KHOODEELAAR! Commentary on Jo Valentine, follows shortly:

" Unashamed: Baroness Valentine
Lobbying baroness accused of breaching Lords rules
Joe Murphy, Political Editor
02.02.09
The £180,000 chief executive of business lobbying group London First today said she was "unashamed" after being dragged into the "peers for hire" furore.
Jo Valentine was accused of breaching House of Lords rules by putting down a string of amendments to planning laws on behalf of the group.
The Liberal Democrats said police should investigate her conduct as part of a full inquiry into allegations that peers have been pocketing huge sums to change laws to suit private firms. The dispute surfaced last week when Lords Truscott, Moonie, Taylor of Blackburn and Snape were revealed in a Sunday newspaper to be allegedly prepared to amend legislation in return for up to £120,000.
There is no suggestion that Lady Valentine has any illicit or undeclared interests. The criticism of her role relates to her high-profile job at London First, an umbrella group for companies ranging from airlines to City finance houses.
Her actions included tabling a series of amendments to planning laws, including pressing for City Hall to have powers to impose business taxes to pay for major infrastructure projects, such as Crossrail, an important London First objective.
But she told the Evening Standard: "I am an unashamed advocate for the interests of London. I do not lobby on behalf of individual companies, but do aim to bring a business perspective to Lords debates."
Lady Valentine said she always declared her post with London First before speaking, so that all peers knew she acted on behalf of a business lobbying group.
The 50-year-old crossbench peeress was ennobled by Tony Blair in 2005 as part of his drive to bring in younger people with expertise of both business and public policy making. She was already in charge of London First at the time and was not asked to give it up.
She said she had no other paid interests apart from her salary with the non-profit organisation. The group produced an analysis of Lords rules to show that there was nothing wrong with her appointment.
But Lib-Dem spokesman Chris Huhne said Scotland Yard should investigate her and three other peers who had put down amendments for business, Lord O'Neill of Clackmannan, Lord Berkeley and Baroness Coussins. Mr Huhne said: "These extra four peers appear to be in the same category where they respectively tabled amendments serving the interests of organisations paying them." Assistant Commissioner John Yates is already considering formal investigations into Lords Truscott and Taylor of Blackburn.
Justice Secretary Jack Straw confirmed he wanted punishments beefed up so that misbehaving peers could be kicked out. Reports today said Lord Archer, who was jailed for perjury, and Lord Black, the newspaper magnate currently in jail, could both be expelled.

Hardly surprising that she is "unashamed".The self serving abusers of their position appear to be unaware of the meaning of the word "shame".Conway still an MP,the 4 Peers caught offering to accept bribes on camera,Mandelson twice "disgraced"...the list is endless.Until a prosecution is pursued with a prison sentence if found guilty our politicians fear nothing.

'Tunnel Vision'
And underneath in a subheading it says,
"Crossrail will slash journey times and bump up property prices on both sides of the capital"
Then you quote a whole range of property companies stating in gleeful terms how the prices of properties in currently deprived [!] areas will shoot up!
They specifically also mention the Whitechapel area in the East End of London. Poverty and deprivation there are between the UK's highest. There is no irony in the Crossrail hypers' glee that the deprived and the low-income people will SUFFER as a direct result of the ADDITIONAL income disparity and the ADDITIONAL social exclusion and inequality that crossrail will cause.
What a way to waste £Billions of public money boosting the coffers of those who cause inequality in society.
The East End people WILL be made poorer still by the imposition of the Crossrail Trojan horse for speculators and big business

Snow Britain: councils blame "difficult" snow
Council bosses claimed they had been hampered in gritting the roads because of "difficult" snow.
By Nick Allen
Last Updated: 3:47PM GMT 02 Feb 2009
A London taxi drives along a snow covered road in south London. Councils have been accused of not clearing suburban roads Photo: REUTERS
They said the snow had compacted overnight which negated the effects of gritting and made it harder to clear.
John Ransford, chief executive of the Local Government Association, told Channel 4 News: "Councils have been out all weekend using every mechanical and human resource they can.
"The problem with this sort of weather, and I'm standing in it now, is when you grit and it snows heavily, of course, the maximum effect of that gritting is lost.
"And on suburban roads, where there are lots of cars and not a great deal of traffic movement overnight, the snow compacts and makes it difficult to clear."
Mr Ransford was challenged that it was only six inches of snow, there had been advanced warning, London had still ground to a standstill and many would regard that as a "joke".
He said: "It's not a joke. We have been clearing all weekend, we have been making sure the roads are running.
"We have got to clear this quickly but I still say when you have got a lot of snow together, and no movement, it's more difficult to get traffic moving when there is the intense use in the morning."
Transport bosses and council chiefs appeared to blame eachother for the problems.
Transport for London's managing director of surface transport David Brown defended the decision to suspend all buses in the capital.
He said Transport for London had kept clear the "red route" roads it was responsible for, which make up about 5 per cent of the capital's road network and it was suburban roads, which councils are responsible for, which hadn't been cleared.
He said: "The local authorities will have their own priority roads to deal with and one of these issues we have had is that bus carriages are predominantly on suburban roads and it has been difficult to grit those roads."

Nowhere so than on transport.

Snow Britain: councils blame "difficult" snow
Council bosses claimed they had been hampered in gritting the roads because of "difficult" snow.

KHOODEELAAR! No to London public transport shut down failures by the same 'mayor' who peddles 'Crossrail' as 'vital'
KHOODEELAAR! No to ‘Crossrail hole scam' CAMPAIGN TOLD YOU SO!
That the OTT hype for Big Business London Crossrail was illogical, untruthful, and untenable…

Not only did the Transport for London’s own ‘technology’ go bust in the snow today... The BBC’s own ‘renowned’ Ben Brown, fronting the afternoon bulletin on the BBC News Channel, was lost for words when a weather-beating interviewee standing in the snow-hit outdoors swiftly corrected Brown on his geography…
Then the eternally smug Emily Maitly made a belated bid to rescue the reputation of her well-sited and widely-travelled co-presenter. But the truth had been out by then.
Not that the BBC is much about telling the truth.
As they kept bringing on the stupid Simon Calder, an alleged ‘travel journalist’ - and seating him on either side of the table every other time in order that viewers did not think the BBC was fooling people watching..- who parroted his rehearsed line about the BA losing £10 Million due to no flights today and to indulge in uttering the rest of the pack of his listed garbage peddling Big Business and so on.
Calder was strongly hinting at Crossrail. So far [and this is only the afternoon, not safe to rule out Calder being fixed permanently on the BBC news studio chairs for the remainder of the day and the oncoming evening and allowed to actually plug Crossrail: see more below], Calder has not been heard to actually utter Crossrail. But it is quite possible that by this time tomorrow Tuesday [3 February 2009], and the weather remaining the same or getting snowier, Calder will be able to find a link between the snow and the correlation with the absence of a Crossrail. He would say, as any fanatic peddler of secret-society CrossRail is wont to do, that had we had a CrossRail in London, all these transport shutdowns would have been averted!
They are THAT crazy.
Every peddler of CrossRail is irrational.
Earlier, Maxine More-one, appearing in a dark number [as opposed to her usually bright coloured solo staging] and sitting next to the well-dictioned [as advertised] Matthew Amroliwala , failed to quiz Boris Johnson thoroughly.
In fact Maxine M-O allowed Boris J to utter a load of offensive phrases and words without being stopped in his tracks!
He was off the tracks as usual.
Boris was allowed to get away with spouting and spieling piffle and rot
His excuse for the transport shutdown on London roads and on the tube lines did not cover the truth let alone reveal it: that as ‘mayor’ Boris had failed on transport….
He was allowed to utter the idiotic stunt that eh was cancelling congestion charges for the day!
And the BBC even carried that idiotic item as‘news’ item in the bulletins that followed.
Indeed, when Emily Maitly [THINK why we are calling her ‘Maitly’ rather than using her published ‘last name’ and you shall know] came on after the end of the Matthew A and Maxine M-O slot, Maitly was trailing the same Boris John son ‘interview’ as if it was ase4ipous contribution on the science, on the management of snow in London and so on…
They then played the cancellation of the congestion charge for day as if it were genuine breaking news…item…
And then they played at getting an ‘opposite comm. Met’ with Maitly faking an interview with the preceding faker to Boris, Kern Lyingstill…
Livingstone did what he is given a platform for. He paraded his regime as a better one.. And he drew attention to local councils having made cuts in their provisions
Livingstone also rubbished the congestion charge cancellation stunt. Partly accurately.
But neither he nor Johnson addressed the issue of the budget the resources and the relevance of Transport for London…
Maitly made matters worse as she chatted to Simon Calder when she drew a distinction between the total public transport shutdown today and ‘terrorist’ attacks.
She said that ‘we’ are ‘rubbish’ at doing ordinary things well.. built when ‘we’ face things like ‘terrorist’ ‘threats’’ ‘we’ are really good.
It seems that references to ‘terrorism’ have been normalised, and the concept of ‘terror’ made such an easy part of ordinary conversation…
No wonder that the BBC does not carry evidence of how ordinary lives are destroyed by the type of shut down that has taken place today across London and in the suburbs…
If the BBC did show those ordinary lives affected by such lack of service by publicly paid for and vital service [What services!!!!????] then the zombification of the people would not go on so recklessly and persistently.....
If the BBC told the truth, Boris Johnson would not be smiling at all.. as he must be, going by the fact that he has been featured in a specially plugged BBC ‘news’ video of his 'interview' item’ on the BBC networks….
They are hyping him as an anti-skive ‘leader’ who is lecturing people to not avoid working during the shut down today …
And what a totally idiotic thing that was…

A Times London news group report about METRONET and how it caused nightmares to so many people who worked for it. Also, some of the other companies mentioned in the Times piece are still involved in railway business in Britain.
Some of the Crossrail bidders are featured in the Times piece [without making this connection]

KHOODEELAAR! evidential comment on Jack Straw's ‘crackdown’ on sleazy peers .... Not convincing at all... Straw has a poor track record
In fact Straw's behaviour as both Home Secretary and before that as the alleged 'architect' of the Human Rights Act has been 'consistently' inconsistent.
And discreditably opportunistic.
Typically Straw.
