It is beyond irony, parody and contempt for democracy. You have promoted this project against all evidence. The 'Crossrail Bill' was passaged through the two Houses of Parliament without scrutiny. No evidence was allowed to be put to the ‘Crossrail Bill Select Committee’ that was staged in BOTH Hoses of the UK Parliament on any of the crucial aspects of the Crossrail scam. The bragging today by Boris Johnson about Crossrail creating jobs is in dire contrast with the day's jobless figures. Of all day's, today was the least appropriate day to stage this stunt. Career politicians making utterances that are supposed to be words of moral legitimacy and authority! There was no evidence in anything Brown said. Nor Boris Johnson's aid. And Jo Valentine is not yet cleared off allegations she has even at the centre of. Credibility of UK Parliament was undermined by the plugging of the agenda behind Crossrail in and via Parliament. As PRIVATE EYE reported after the event, the key driving influence was the USA conglomerate Bechtel. They used as lobby lever one of Douglas Alexander's former close aides in Government. Every single Transport Secretary involved with Crossrail has been found on the facts as being seriously flawed on the job. Far too many questions remain about the obstinacy with which Brown is now pressing on. Why is it that you have not once raised the question as to why Rod Eddington was ignored by Brown. You have not given any reason as to why you failed to query the granting of £100 Million to CLKRL by Alistair Darling under S 6 of the Railways Act 2005. Why had the Railways Act itself been passed?
