KHOODEELAAR! telling Nick Clegg so! Quit aping 'the squatter' on fakery. Quit faking it. Stop backing lies. Stop believing the lies. Scrap the lies-filled 'case' for Big Business agenda scam Crossrail. Show that you are prepared to ditch the lies as retailed, written and uttered by Tom Brake, Susan Kramer, and Lynne Featherstone et al over the years as they were stooged to behave in that way by the Big Business enforcers, touts and zombies deployed in Westminster and Whitetail to carry out the anti-democratic programme of turning the Palace of Westminster into the Palace of Ghostsminster.. Change from lies to truth! can you do it, ‘Nick’? Show us that you can recognise the truth, back the truth and stick by the truth....As opposed to sticking up for fakers, fabricators and timeservers!

DAILY MAIL article by ANDREW PIERCE on David Laws and other Lib Dem serial hypocrites over the past 40 years.

“It's about being a hypocrite, not about being gay  By ANDREW PIERCE Last updated at 11:34 AM on 31st May 2010 ..............." David Laws has resigned from the Cabinet not because of any private battle with his demons to keep his homosexuality secret.  He has gone because he is guilty of rank hypocrisy over his parliamentary expenses.  He was the minister charged with slashing public expenditure who had already drawn up tough rules limiting the pay and perks of hundreds of thousands of public sector workers. Tens of thousands more would lose their jobs because of the decisions he would take.  Yet the same minister, hailed as one of the brightest stars in the Coalition firmament, gave £40,000 of taxpayers' money to his landlord James Lundie  -  who was also his lover.  Predictably, friends of Mr Laws trot out the same old excuse deployed by dozens of other MP expenses cheats. They say Mr Laws fell foul of rules that were too vague or were in a 'grey area'.  Sorry, but in this case, the rules could not be clearer  -  especially after July 2006, when the authorities decreed: 'Second-home allowances must not be used to meet the costs of a mortgage or for leasing accommodation from a partner or family member.'   David Laws arrives in Downing Street for a cabinet meeting before the state opening of Parliament last Tuesday Mr Laws, one of the cleverest men at Westminster with a double first in Economics from Cambridge University, ignored the new diktat. He continued to charge the taxpayer £950 a month rent for two rooms in Mr Lundie's London property.  A multi-millionaire as a result of his former career in the City, he certainly did not need the cash. Indeed, his friends insist that he was not motivated by money, more by a desire to maintain his privacy.  But he still abused the system to bolster the income of his secret boyfriend to the tune of £40,000 tax free.  Yet David Cameron, the Prime Minister, was one of the first to hail Mr Laws as a 'moral' politician who could soon be back in the Cabinet  -  presumably only after he has repaid the £40,000.    More... MELANIE PHILLIPS: What a reminder that when politicians talk about changing the world, it's time to start counting the spoons! MAIL COMMENT: A serious loss... but Mr Laws had to go IAIN DALE: We're not Americans. We don't like baring our souls. And most of all we don't like hurting our families. I know. I've been there JONATHAN AITKEN: If he'd come completely clean to the House it might just have saved him - I wish I'd tried it Lord Ashdown, the former Lib Dem leader, went further by anointing Mr Laws, his successor as MP for Yeovil, as 'Mr Integrity'.  Lord Ashdown should tell that to the low-paid local authority gardeners, street cleaners and home helps, who will lose their jobs in their thousands because of the spending squeeze which Mr Laws was preparing.  A succession of other politicians, including Vince Cable, the Lib Dem Business Secretary, toured the radio and television studios at the weekend to try to engender a climate of sympathy for Mr Laws. This, presumably, was to facilitate his swift return to the Cabinet.  They all repeated the mantra that the mistake came about only because Mr Laws, a Roman Catholic, was tortured about his sexuality. It was, they said, a ' personal tragedy'.  But in fact Mr Laws resigned because he made dubious parliamentary expenses claims over at least three years. He then took the most sensitive post in the Cabinet knowing that his abuse of the system was not the only secret he was keeping in his closet.  When the great expenses scandal engulfed Westminster, with even the famously parsimonious Gordon Brown forced to repay £12,000, it was Nick Clegg, now Deputy Prime Minister, and Mr Laws who adopted a lofty tone of superiority.  In a press release issued by his constituency office in the run-up to the election, Mr Laws actually boasted about his expenses record. It said: 'The report by Sir Thomas Legg into MPs' expenses has been published today, and this confirms that David Laws has not  been asked to repay any of his expenses, as Sir Thomas found all his claims for London living costs to be in order.'  The chutzpah of the man!  As if that were not bad enough, Mr Laws then tried to score points at the expense of his political opponents. 'However, over half of MPs (390 out of 650) have been ordered to repay expenses, including many from the Somerset and Dorset area.'  The statement then listed several MPs and how much they had to repay. It named Oliver Letwin, a Tory facing a fierce Lib Dem challenge, who now sits around the same Cabinet table as Mr Laws did.  The £3,000 Mr Letwin had to repay will be dwarfed by the scale of what Mr Integrity will have to give back to the taxpayer.  But the press release was fully in tune with the carefully- crafted, goody two shoes image of Mr Laws. Only hours before his spectacular fall from grace, he was at it again when he refused the offer of a pot plant for his office at the Treasury.  He then demanded to see the budget for all pot plants in the department  -  and promptly abolished it. Naturally, this commendable act of thrift was leaked to the media.    TODAY'S POLL   Should David Laws have resigned?     Yes    No VOTE  All polls Now, as a result of the weekend's revelations, Mr Laws has had to break the news to his aged parents, who are devout Roman Catholics, that he is gay and has been in a same-sex relationship for nine years. Mr and Mrs Laws probably thought their son was married to his work and had no time for affairs of the heart.  As a gay Roman Catholic, I feel desperately sorry that it was only as a media firestorm was about to engulf him that Mr Laws finally decided to tell his family and close friends about the guilt which has given him sleepless nights for years.  I told my parents when I was 22. It's not easy. I understand the demons that haunt him. He probably feared his parents would be devastated, expecting him one day to settle down with a nice girl and have a family. I hope, like my parents, they will love Mr Laws just as much gay or straight.  If we are honest, the Lib Dems do not have a good record here. While running for the party leadership, Simon Hughes was outed by a tabloid after he had told an interviewer that he was not homosexual.  It was the same Simon Hughes who was the Liberal candidate in Bermondsey in one of the most notorious by-elections of the last 30 years, when the tabloids turned with savage fury on the Labour candidate Peter Tatchell. His supposed sin was being gay.  Jeremy Thorpe, the Liberal leader in the last hung parliament in 1974, was charged at the Old Bailey with attempting to murder Norman Scott, who claimed to be his former lover. Mr Thorpe, who denied he was involved with Mr Scott, was acquitted but his career was ruined.  Mr Laws has not, as his friends insist, paid a high price for his error of judgment. He has paid the right price. Some of his constituents who are caught fiddling their welfare benefits would face prosecution.  He will merely apologise to the Commons, repay the money  -  not difficult for a millionaire  -  and wait for a recall to the Cabinet. It's hardly rough justice.  Supporters of Mr Laws will continue to fan the flames of the smokescreen which they have created over his sexuality.  But let's be clear. Most people don't care if their MP is gay or straight. It's fiddling expenses which is the vice that dare not speak its name....

KHOODEELAAR! telling [and reminding]  the UK CONDEM OTT-hyping Nick Clegg of his own boasts that his 'Party MPs' were fiddles and dishonesty-free!

David Laws didn’t have to claim anything from the public, assuming it is true that he is 'Mr Integrity' [as ‘certified by Paddy Pantsdown’ of all ‘moral authorities’!]  and was so 'wealthy' by his 'clever' 'double First in Economics at Cambridge'  'achievements' that he could retire - and did 'retire' from 'the City' at age 28!
If CLEGGIE has any links left with reality [now, that was Gordon Brown’s advice to Clegg on ‘live TV’] [way before Cleggie got ahead of himself and started dissing Brown as the squatter in No 10 Downing Street] then he must start issuing profuse apologies to the public.
Clegg should do so as many of his Party’s ‘squeaky clean’ MPs embark on a rush of nightmare auditing of their many hidden activities…
Clegg should, also have a quiet word with Vince Cable and restrain Cable from going so over the top in his praise of David Laws or whoever else that may be in need of ‘shielding’ on the airwaves: is it Danny Alexander and his little fib, as already chronicled by the anti-CGT Daily Telegraph this morning?!! ].

No, the Lib Dems are not about to help usher in ‘change.

Not from where the KHOODEELAAR! campaign against CRASS role they [the Lib Dems] are observed…

We can say to CLEGG with absolute confidence [we HAVE done the costs and our homework]:
Quit faking it.
Quit even thinking of lying as a cover!
Best tell the truth, face up to the truth and resolve to be truthful all the way.

KHOODEELAAR! Evidentially telling UK CONDEM CLEGG to quit being infantile. His 'confidence' in David Laws shows that he, Clegg, is clegging on incredibly! Nothing's changed! Clegg can't have it THAT way too! He is either for 'change' or he is for the status quo! Which one is he for? If Cleggie persists in the state of perpetual contradiction, he alone will be to blame for the repercussions! He is very close to proving that Vince Cable’s oft-rehearsed line against G Brown not only applied to Brown but to Clegg as well. But then for a ‘Party’ leader whose Party performed the parasitic role of swallowing hook, line and sinker the entirety of the Big Business propaganda for CrossRail, what can we expect but more of the same! And this proves that Clegg was unduly allowed to claim that he had achieved some democratic revolution when he appeared on those OTT TV Debases in April 2010! Quit the farcical fantasy, Nick! We never agreed with you in the first place and now, after your Bliar-like ‘endorsement’ of the expenses-exposed David Laws we shall never find any reason to even theoretically contemplate to!

KHOODEELAAR! TOLD the BBC so! That it was one of the most persistent sources, couriers of fabrications, lies and untruths for the Govt of the day. That it fabricated lies for Crossrail. That it continues to fail and refuses to publish the truth about the bogus transport infrastructure project that has been peddled for years at the expense of existing transport needs in and around London. So it is really galling of BBC online to appear to give credit to the Daily Telegraph on 'exposing' David Laws’ expenses fiddle while taking a swipe at 'the other papers’, which had prematurely praised David Laws! The BBC should admit that Khoodeelaar! carried out a far more comprehensive and telling exposé’ on Alistair Darling paying £100 million to the bogus CLRL in December 2005 under the bogus Section 6 of the Bogus and the corruptly enacted ‘Railways Act 2005’! Why hasn’t the BBC been admitting that and investigating and updating on that? [To be continued]

Newspaper review: Premature praise for minister Laws

    Papers
Had it not been for the Daily Telegraph exclusive on the expenses claims of Chief Treasury Secretary David Laws, he would have been able to take comfort from the praise offered by other papers for his role in the government.
Writing in the Times, Matthew Parris says the Liberal Democrat minister is "calm, deft and strong on detail".
Patrick O'Flynn, chief political commentator for the Daily Express, says when David Laws spoke in the Commons he "instilled belief in the coalition among the Conservative awkward squad".
    Taxing question
David Laws gives an interview to the Times, which took place before the Daily Telegraph scoop on his expenses.
He acknowledges that concerns raised by Tory MPs about plans to raise Capital Gains Tax are "very real".
The Daily Telegraph and Daily Mail warn the rise will harm people on middle and lower incomes who do not want to rely on the state when they retire.
The FT reports the proposal has led to a raid on gold - UK-minted bullion coins are exempt from the tax.
    Public anger
The Independent profiles Tony Hayward, the embattled chief executive of BP who continues to grapple with task of plugging the Gulf of Mexico oil spill.
The FT says he has become "the target for rising public anger in the US".
The Independent says he is managing to "retain his composure" even as the pressure mounts from President Obama.
A BP insider tells the paper his boss "has shown nerves of reinforced steel". Nevertheless, the Independent warns him that "time is running out".
    Peer pressure
"Arise Lord Two Jags" announces the Daily Express, as the former deputy prime minister accepts a peerage.
It and the Daily Mail cannot help but remind John Prescott it comes two years after he said he did not want to be a member of the House of Lords.
The Mail reports that Mr Prescott is giving up on "class war" because he wants to make a Lady of his wife.
A Labour source tells the paper: "It's not really John's scene - Pauline is a different matter."

KHOODEELAAR! Told the London EVENING STANDARD so! Now, it attempts to admit part of it. More to follow this "Laws expenses blow rocks coalition”.

We reiterate the truth: the CONDEM Collusion is based on the premiss of fundamental fakery and fraud. It is based on the cheap marketing ploys touted and touted for by Nick Clegg via that TV Debases! They were not 'debates'. They were DEBASES. Debasing the ordinary, universally understood good faith of the residually alert members of the UK electorate and watching, viewing public.

They were taken for a ride. A ride made almost exciting in context by the totally barren, empty regime that the remnants of the Bliared regime represented from their political bunkers behind No 10 Downing Street London SW1.

We were not impressed at the charade that was on.

We have not been impressed by the post-nupital exhibition of vulgarity and dishonesty.

We reiterate the unplugged Vince Cable's unsuitability as 'the star' [the fraudulently conceived phrase that UK CON D Cameron used to flatter the confused Vince Cable seriously deflated before any real work is done on the OTT-hyped deficit reduction with any credibility whatever].

Cable will not be a start for much longer.

In fact he will be entering the career and power equipment of the star chambers soon.

Unless he shows any metal and exits out of the Collusion fast. Now.

Vince Cable has shown his loss of direction by distancing himself from his Party role this week. Not very good omens at all…

The new coalition Government is engulfed in its first crisis after Chief Secretary to the Treasury David Laws was forced to apologise over parliamentary expenses running into tens of thousands of pounds.
The Liberal Democrat Cabinet minister's job looked to be hanging in the balance after it emerged he channelled more than £40,000 of taxpayers' money to his long-term partner.
He claimed up to £950 a month in expenses for five years to rent rooms in two properties owned by lobbyist James Lundie. Parliamentary rules ban MPs from "leasing accommodation from a partner".
On Friday night Mr Laws - who this week promised public spending curbs that would send "shockwaves" through Whitehall - apologised and announced that he would "immediately" pay back the money in the wake of the Daily Telegraph's disclosures, as well as referring himself to the parliamentary standards commissioner.
The Yeovil MP also chose to 'out' himself as gay - although the newspaper stressed it had not intended to reveal his sexuality. "James and I are intensely private people," he said in a statement. "We made the decision to keep our relationship private and believed that was our right. Clearly that cannot now remain the case. My motivation throughout has not been to maximise profit but to simply protect our privacy and my wish not to reveal my sexuality."
Since 2006, Parliamentary rules have banned MPs from "leasing accommodation from a partner.
Mr Laws - a millionaire former City banker - insisted: "At no point did I consider myself to be in breach of the rules which in 2009 defined partner as 'one of a couple... who, although not married to each-other or civil partners, are living together and treat each other as spouses'. However, I now accept that this was open to interpretation and will immediately pay back the costs of the rent and other housing costs I claimed from the time the rules changed until August 2009."
He added: "I regret this situation deeply, accept that I should not have claimed my expenses in this way and apologise fully."
Mr Cameron has previously made a point of taking a hard line on expenses abuses among his own ranks, while Lib Dem leader and deputy prime minister Nick Clegg has boasted that his party emerged unscathed from the scandal.
The episode will also be the first test of how Mr Cameron and Mr Clegg co-operate over man management. Under the coalition protocol that has been hammered out, Mr Clegg must be "fully consulted" before any Lib Dem minister is removed from a government post.

KHOODEELAAR! Told you so! It was a matter of time, nay, of weeks, not even months, before the CONDEM COLLUSION would be exposed for what it was, a collusion. Nick Clegg in this evening’s [Friday 28 May 2010] exposure done by the Daily Telegraph is losing a big leg in a bigger way than those TV Debases and those stunts would ever allow to be even imagined. We looked at the evidence and we put the facts in context and we concluded that Clegg was faking it big time. We recall Cleggie's boasts staged in the UK House of Commons in the months before the 6 May 2010 staging, to the effect that his Party, the Lib Dumbs, did not indulge in the expenses fiddles that MPs [and peers] from the other 'parties' had done! What a lie! What an insult! How dare the fakers fake so furiously! We say: "David Laws! Best he goes!" He is faking it even in his later, longer statement that the BBC is retailing. The Daily Telegraph was NOT going to talk about Laws' private life! David Laws has not shown he can even learn! We safely ‘product’ that the ‘new’ Treasury Team will make an abysmally crass Big Biz touting mess over the CRASSrail scam. They will essentially keep it! Unless there is an unpredictable overturning of all the Treasury propensities overnight and the Treasury shows it has learnt to at least stop faking…..[To be continued]

Khoodeelaar! has been telling you so about the irresponsibility of causing debts as part of the agenda pushed by Big Business. On rare occasions, the mainstream [!] UK Media let in the truth. Only rarely. So we recognise those rare occasions. Here is Nigel Nelson in the London SUNDAY People discussing how the deficit could be cut.  We have run this before mainly because in his list of the dispensable big costs projects was Crossrail. A year a two months on, the principles that Nigel Nelson followed in his piece hold true. As do the wider principles which the KHOODEELAAR! campaign has been advocating for coming on to 7 years now. This NIGEL NELSON piece was published in March 2009. "BLACK HOLE COSTS YOU pounds 25,000; EXCLUSIVE  Here's how they might claw it back 0 Comments | People (London, England), The, March 22, 2009 By-line: By NIGEL NELSON Political Editor  EVERY British taxpayer faces a debt of pounds 25,000 to pay for Alistair Darling's borrowing binge.  New forecasts say the Chancellor needs to splash out pounds 704billion on the nation's credit card over the next five years.  That will leave each taxpayer with a bill equal to the current UK average wage, say economists Ernst & Young.  And it will be FIVE times the amount of debt run up over the last five years, which worked out at just pounds 5,000 per taxpayer.  The predictions from forecasting group the Item Club say Mr Darling will need pounds 180billion this year alone, exceeding his own estimate by pounds 62billion.  Most Popular Articles Health: What does your headache mean? Can shame tame cons? Legend of Lewis Carroll has dark side Ambrose Evans-Pritchard talks about secret life of Bill Clinton A death in Orange County shatters California dreams Most Recent Articles They are so significant because the Item Club uses the same forecasting model as the Treasury.  Shadow Chancellor George Osborne said: "This is the worst fiscal mess any British government has created in peacetime.  "Tax receipts have collapsed but there is a great deal of scope for spending restraint."  Lib Dem Treasury spokesman Vince Cable added: "Spending will rise sharply over the coming months as unemployment surges.  "And the steep fall in output will continue to reduce tax revenues."  Last week the International Monetary Fund said the UK will have to borrow 11 per cent of national income this year, the most of all the world's top G7 industrialised nations. Ernst & Young say it will be 1.6 per cent WORSE.  Item Club chief economist Peter Spencer said: "The outlook is bleak. The Chancellor must present an unambiguous plan for restoring the public finances to health.  "We are all going to find ourselves paying a lot more tax once the recovery begins and our children will be paying that tax for a very long time to come."  The researchers say Mr Darling must now pump more cash into manufacturing to save jobs.  In April's Budget he is expected to cut taxes to encourage spending, as The People said last week.  But once the recession is over the Government will have to claw the money back. And we have some suggestions, see right, for doing it.  For instance Mr Darling could RAISE tax by 5p, SCRAP the Crossrail plan for new London train links or SUPPLY school meals free to cut obesity in kids.   "

Crossrail could be slashed by £5 billion under drastic plans being considered by the Government.
In the worst-case scenario, Bond Street or Tottenham Court Road stations for the planned east-west rail link may be axed as part of a package of reforms, sources close to the scheme suggested.
Other options for lowering the £16.9 billion bill include cutting the number of train carriages and scrapping extensions to Maidenhead in the west and Abbey Wood in the east.
Mayor Boris JohnsonTransport for London boss Peter Hendy and City Hall chief of staff Sir Simon Milton were meeting Transport Secretary Philip Hammond for crunch talks this afternoon.
A senior TfL source said: “The Mayor is in there now making the case for continued investment in London's transport network, including Crossrail.
“TfL and London's business community are absolutely clear that Crossrail is vital. We understand that these are straitened economic times but London is not the same as the rest of the country. We've had a Conservative administration here saving money over the last two years.”
The project, scheduled for completion in 2016, aims to ease congestion and slash journey times in the capital, with a high-speed tunnel connecting Heathrow, central London, the City and Canary Wharf.
Building magazine today claimed that an internal Crossrail team, under instruction from ministers to save money on the scheme, is understood to be considering dropping either the planned Tottenham Court Road or Bond Street station.
The Department for Transport said the report was “pure speculation” and Mr Hammond told the Standard: “Our challenge is to deliver Crossrail as it was designed at the lowest possible cost.”
A source close to the process said: “The team is being asked to look at the whole scheme. If you took out both spurs and reduced the platforms and stations then they're looking at £4 billion-£5 billion of cuts.”
Mr Johnson last week said Crossrail had to mount a “Stalingrad defence” to guarantee funding.
Steven Norris, former Tory MP and Transport for London board member, said he believed axing a central station and the spurs were being looked at.
“The Government needs to understand the difference between the kind of spending that fills ad pages in the Society Guardian and genuine investment in the country.
“If you're going to cut Abbey Wood or Maidenhead you might as well shelve the whole lot. It only makes sense to dig the tunnel if you do the whole scheme. It's like planning to buy a new car without an engine.”
Shadow transport secretary Sadiq Khan said: “This is bad news for London's ability to bounce back from the recession.”
