Time at last for Denis MacShane to show he has a sense of Shame!

Time at last for Denis MacShane to show he has a sense of Shame! The © Muhammad Haque Daily Ethical Commentary: 0200 [0140] Hrs GMT London Saturday 03 November 2012: Denis MacShane! What a shame, again! Why didn't Denis learn the lesson when he got the sack over the call on Reg Maudling? It was Paul Foot who had made a strong defence of Denis Macshane's tactics in making that faked call about the very corrupt Reg maudling. Foot's argument was that Maudling's had been the greater crime. MacShame received a lot of backing from many others at the time. But I wondered even then whether MacShane had done the right thing. It has been a long wait for me over MacShane. Yesterday's "damning" "revelations" therefore are not really original. What MacShane has been reportedly saying in still asserting his right in "mitigation" is that he was "foolish" in being caught out! He has not expressed regret that he was wrong, that he acted dishonestly and that he set a shameless example of corruption by a sitting British MP! I have a single two word phrase for MacShane: Tony Bliar! If MacShane had been CLAIMING some justification in ethics and morality by "linking" his alleged status as Tony Bliar's 'personal envoy" then the condemnation that MacShane is going to receive will not be enough. How dare he even suggest that the Bliar link was in any way a moral thing? Bliar has undermined everything to do with morality, ethics and legitimacy. It is because of the hold that Big Biz forces have on the stooged UK Parliament and Government that has lowed Bliar to remain unprosecuted so far for the many offences that he has been committing. MacShane is being exposed because as compared to the role that Blair has been playing for Big Biz agenda across the secret terrains of state and Conglomerate and MIC "power" in suppressing the truth, Macshane's has been a far smaller one. Evidently. As far as known in public. The Big Biz forces dare not have Bliar investigated by anyone! And that is why all the "inquiries" have produced "photo opps" moments for Bliar whom the very seriously corrupting agenda of the British "mainstream" "Media" and "Fleet Street" titles and outlets have treated as a "still viable and waiting alternative Prime Minister…"! This is why the OTHERWISE "scruteeneering" "commentators" typified by the permanent fixture for the Right, Andrew Pierce' have been going over the top in PRAISING Bliar every time Blair has made an appearance before any of the "enquiries", the latest such occasion being before the "Leveson" one! MacShane should distance himself from Blair fully. Has MacShane enough sense of shame? Has MacShane ANY shame so he can AT LAST come clean about everything he knows about Bliar and the dark art of manipulating _ "using" - "the Media" that to date Bliar has appeared to have been an expert at? In fact he should write another "book" on "how to use the media", this time by adding a chapter on how Bliar created an entire world inside his head based on lies and deception and abuse of power and still managed to get huge spots in the media. Like Bliar has got only this past week with his shameless peddling of his jun demised selfishness and craving for office at the expense of democracy and the democratic rights of the ordinary and the honest peoples across "Europe". Sayeeda Warsi failed to learn from Pola Uddin scandal!

Tory peer faces probe over expenses

Cabinet minister Baroness Warsi was facing an investigation into her parliamentary expenses amid allegations she claimed for accommodation while staying at a friend's house rent-free.
The House of Lords Commissioner for Standards, former chief constable Paul Kernaghan, is being asked by Labour MP John Mann to conduct an inquiry into the Tory peer's claims.
Lady Warsi, the co-chairman of the Conservative Party, was advised by former sleaze watchdog Sir Alistair Graham to stand down from her role as a Cabinet Office minister pending the outcome of any inquiry.
Downing Street has made no show of support for the peer. Tory deputy chairman Michael Fallon said only that Lady Warsi "believes" she acted within the rules, but he admitted that the controversy was embarrassing for the party.
Click here to find out more!
Lady Warsi insisted she made an "appropriate payment" to her friend - Tory official Naweed Khan, who is now one of her aides - for the nights she stayed at the property in Acton, west London. Mr Khan supported her assertion, releasing a statement saying she made a payment each time she stayed.
But the property's owner, GP and former Conservative donor Wafik Moustafa, denied receiving any income from either Lady Warsi or Mr Khan.
The peer, now a Cabinet Office minister, was claiming Lords subsistence of £165.50 a night at the time the allegations relate to, in 2008.
Sir Alistair, a former chairman of the Committee on Standards in Public Life, said: "At the moment it all looks very muddy and blurred and worthy of a full investigation."
He suggested that if there was an investigation Lady Warsi should relinquish her ministerial office until any inquiries were complete. "I personally am always of the view, when ministers face very serious allegations that seem to have some strength to them, then it's better that they stand down from their ministerial post while that investigation takes place, but of course that is a matter for the Prime Minister," he said.
Mr Mann said he would be writing to the Lords standards commissioner requesting an investigation. "If you are paying no rent where you are staying, you can't possibly be claiming subsistence for staying there," he said.
