Or perhaps Gordon Brown may be privately 'relieved' that Peter Kellner's outfit has at last produced the way out for him... Way out of the bogus commitment to fund the CRASSrail scam from the public sources....
Funds that are so seriously scarce now that Brown is having to make a historic plea to people in the UK not to waste food!
And to hear Brown;s voice being produced in that unsettlingly contradictory tone of
the former Viscount STANSGATE as played by his son Hillary Benn today was indeed uncanny....
A Benn pleading to people in Britain not to waste food... Not to throw away food that is fit to eat...
Whatever had been happening to society for 11 years when so much food had been, must have been thrown way...?
What morality, what ethics, what sense is it that makes otherwise ‘okay’ people to commit such callous acts...
Could the callousness be linked with the callousness, the irresponsibility and the lack of care about the world that has been engendered by a callously opportunistic corrupting Government that has lied on so many issues and topics and scams... Like CRASSrail?
CRASSNESS in Parliament. Crass behaviour by people who practically worship the situation of Parliament...
Suddenly,,, the world class capital city - phrases that only a few weeks ago were being uttered by the egotistic Ken Livingstone and his entourage, sound very hollow....
How times change...
And we are saying to Gordon Brown that he must scrap the CRASS scam and instead focus attention, as far as the use of public resources for meeting the transport needs of London are concerned to sound solutions.
Crossrail is a CRASS response to a serious transport situation. A serious economic,ic problem.
We have examined ALL the elements and factors in the past 56 months and we shall continue to do so.
That ANYONE other than the Khoodeelaar! movement against CRASSrail, can say that Crossrail is less important than any other project, scheme or scam is in itself news...
Not that they should not say this.
But that for 56 months they have been in denial and they have been pretending otherwise...
We have said that the economic criteria are not met by Crossrail. that there is no demand in the economy for such scam.
That there is no demand in areas like the parts that the planned line touches, for it.
There have been surrogate supplicatory plugs of course. Like in Greenwich and other places to the west of London.
In Greenwich, a very corrupt clique in control of the local Blairing Council has been quite similar in its role for plugging Crossrail to that found in Tower Hamlets. The Greenwich Council clique is as corrupt as its counterpart in Tower Hamlets. Elsewhere in London, no other local council has behaved so brazenly or so stupidly in plugging for Crassrail Individual, Blairing careerists have behaved as irrationally as some time-servers we have identified and exposed in tower Hamlets. But in the main, even the Blair-backing local councils have stayed silent. And the then Tory party Chair Francis maude made the open criticism [April 2006] of Crossrail hole plot, although he the repeated the Party position on Crossrail overall. But there has been no evidence from their Transport spokesman for ages. As there has been none from the Lib Deems.
Which shows that even THEY have seen sense or the evidence. that there is no demand or need for Crossrail in the tottering uk macro economy
And what does the deputy governor at the ~Bank of England say about the state of the economy?
Not very hopeful, is he, the Professor?
Even he says that the UK economy has got to be more productive...
Productivity surely cannot be associated with the crass waste of £Billions on project that has only one certain winner: Big Business construction outfits.
The main areas that are supposed to deserved by the crassly conceived plan has no demand for that line.
There are other demands for other needs and services on transport in London. But not for Crossrail.
We shall examine the pollster-found businesses-preferred Thames G...way itself in due course.
The YOUGOV poll finding should again shown to Gordon Brown and all in the UK Treasury now, that Ken Livingstone was wrong to peddle for the Big Business agenda... That Gordon Brown was tricked into making that commitment for public funding of Crassrail to the tune of £Billions...
