KHOODEELAAR! first response to Geoff Hoon's 'debut' utterances for Big Business Crossrail DOME, as relayed by the London EVENING nostandards STANDARD [194]
KHOODEELAAR! first response to the London Big Business agenda peddling EVENING nostandards STANDARD roping in Geoff Hoon as the latest tout for Big Business at the DfT. “Your [the London ‘EVENING STANDARD’] latest promotion of Crossrail [today Friday 17 October 2008] is irresponsible. You have continued to fail to report the fact that the "Crossrail Bill' was pushed through the two Houses of the UK Parliament by actively suppressing any examination of the evidence about transport in London and the relevance if any of a scheme that is called Crossrail. You have also continued to fail to report the fact that this applied to ALL the formal objectors to the Bill. ALL objectors who wanted to query the claimed purpose of the Bill and BRING evidence about the EXISTING transport infrastructure in London were PREVENTED from raising this. The ban effectively made a mockery of the two ‘select committees’ that were in fact set up in the two Houses. They were stooged. Totally. To toe the Govt line of acting as the de facto tout for failed Big Business agenda setters on public funding under any excuse.... And to ban all representations of all questions about the evidence coanchoring the appropriateness, cost and the economics of Crossrail as contained in the ‘Crossrail Bill" [now the 'Crossrail Act' following its rubber stamping as 'Royally assented' on 22 July 2008]’. You have done this for the past five years. And you have also failed to report that there are several constitutional law grounds that are being cited in the campaign by KHOODEELAAR! as part of the information in the public domain saying that legal acton will be taken to have the ‘Crossrail Act’ declared unconstitutional. [To be continued]
