Alistair Darling, the officially described finance minister of the UK Government gave a banal interview to the BBC.. The interview as published din the last 48 hours, contains nothing.. Northing of the truth.... In any event that interview was a re-statement of what the BBC man doing the interviewing, had been saying all along. That the banks were not lending to each other...It must have been a personal 'achievement' [to be added to Peston's over-hyped and fake CV on the whole matter of his having broken so many of the 'downturn' 'stories' in the past 3 months, as incredibly suggested by the Daily Mail group of UK media] on Robert Peston's part to hear Darling repeat what Peston had said....
