And as we have pointed out earlier today about his sneaky and ego-linked appearance before a UK House of Commons 'committee' earlier this week [happens to be select committee called the Justice select committee = does NOt mean that they are about justice at all; most of them are there on that committee for the little extra perks and so on], Ken Livingstone was not telling the truth on that occasion either...
But in February 2008, when he was beleaguered under allegations of misuse of his office and lack of transparency, he decided to attack the London Assembly and shouted at them for 'DARING' [!!!!!!!], for daring to ASK HIM questions....
He wanted Lee Jasper, an employee, to be questioned... Not him....
The video shows that historic moment of the antidemocratic Ken Livingstone in acton...
It is incredible to think that the House of Commons bureaucracy was manipulated again to offer the egotistic Ken Livingstone an airing...
UNLIKE the Crossrail Bill Select Committee in that same House two years previously.
‘Chaired’ by Mansfield, England, constituency MP Alan Meale, that STOOGED Select Committee behaved in June 2006 exactly as the KHOODEELAAR! campaign had predicted in December 2005 it would.
In December 2005 that Stooged select committee was getting bureaucratically set up.
The so-called Crossrail Bill Select Committee in the House of Commons [in June 2006 and thereafter] behaved as a committee that can be found in any stooged parliament in any part of the world where democracy and parliamentary democracy ‘as we understand in Westminster’ is not allowed.....

Your report in fact continues the overdue focus on the evidence that the community in Tower Hamlets is familiar with. Whereas ordinary universally recognisable common sense and fairness would have both avoided the costly series of actions that has now culminated in the ‘result’ that you report in favour of Mr Wooster's, the vast majority of the same Tower Hamlets Council’s actions daily that are unfair and unjust are not highlighted. Most people suffer injustice and betrayal by Tower Hamlets Council without any redress. Most lack the means. And there is a deep void in the East End and elsewhere in the inner cities in the UK where systematic and routine bad conduct by local council's are allowed to go unchallenged. In effect.
The undemocratic, unaccountable and antisocial clique that has been in control of the Tower Hamlets Borough Council is in denial. Over most of the key areas of its violations.
Ordinary people in Tower Hamlets are not in touch with the Council.
Why?
Because the Council decisions and practices are not in touch with the peoples’ needs. And the peoples'’ demands. Most of the ordinary, common sense values are denied. It is worse than incompetence.
There is a corrupt culture that is dominant in the Council which is operated on the basis of aggravated negligence towards the whole community. The ‘town hall’ has been abolished and in its place there is a physically remote location that they claim is the replacement which is an insult to common sense. remoteness is complete between the community and the ‘local democratic council’ in Tower Hamlets.
The HQ is more like the glass house [literally] of the council of nightmares..Ordinary people cannot physically travel to it from any part of Tower Hamlets. Not in any significant way at all..
Special arrangements have to be made to get people there.
The Council has no scrutiny that is independent of the controlling clique. Part of the clique is served by the token set up they pass off as scrutiny. there is no significant political opposition at all on the Council. And there is no democratic mechanism where the community, that is the source of the better knowledge and views about what is right and what is appropriate for the quality of life in the local community is obstructed by the clique in every way and at every stage...
This is why Hazel Blears [the cabinet minister in Brown's Govt allegedly responsible for Local Government] is wrong to shout slogans about local democracy. She will be the first to stand by the institutionalised, careerist dishonesty and the corruption that is committed by a clique which she will treat as her 'natural ally' so long as it is made up of elements that mouth slogans for her Government.
Mr Wooster's victory has been won as a result of a hard fight. But this is rare. Because other people who are being let down or denied service by the same Council will not be given the resources or the support by the judicial system that they deserve. And the UK central Govt is making Councils like Tower Hamlets behave in increasingly authoritarian way by a complex system of patronage, funding and institutionalised corruption. Ordinary people do not stand much chance of enjoying democracy from such councils..

But on this one occasion, when he has made an alleged gaffe and exposed Obama's essentially 'ethnic surrogate' behaviour, Jesse Jackson has ALL my votes! Better later [as re 1984 and 1988 when I did not trust Jackson] than never.... I predict that if Obama is allowed to get into the hot house [=white house reference here is deliberately deleted], he will commit so many acts of illness and violation of which Black people of all backgrounds will be horrified and even correctly afraid..... OBAMA NEEDS to be told where his legitimacy will be coming from........No matter what the others may say, OBAMA would NOT be even where he is today had it not been for the great - and the continuing - suffering of people of African and Asian and other backgrounds.... OBAMA ought never to be allowed to assume that he is going in there to do damage to people like threatening and violating countries, peoples,. cultures, resources all over the world... He is going there to back justice... And he has got to start the battle about creating justice inside the USA......
And Jesse Jackson has made a timely contribution via that historic, monumentally positive gaffe.....

This action commentary is about Alistair Darling and Ken Livingstone, two of the peddlers of the CRASSrail hole plot. This commentary is in four parts:
PART 1
Ken Livingstone's self-promoting, ego-linked, careeristic opportunism was displayed again this week when he was able to sneak into the focal lenses of the various licensed broadcast media as he paraded his need for attention via one of the UK House of Commons committees... The excuse for the broadcast media peddling the pathetic appearances was that Livingstone was the former mayor' in the name of London. There was no truth in what he said about various UK Govt departments. For it was one of those Departments, the DfT that he had used to the limits to push for the Crassrail hole plot. Did he make any comp,aunt against that? Did he tell how he LIED to various Govt Departments over the stunt around the London bid to host the 2012 Olympic games? Did he tell how he lied to get Gordon Brown to make that commitment of £Billions of UK public cash to CRASSrail? Not a bit of it. And not surprisingly, either. Because the 'Select Committee' is not made up of morally courageous, let alone constitutionally conscientious and informed people. Most of these Select Committees are STOOGED. And most of these who get on to them are there because they have no better role to perform. Had there been real true and truthful scripting of the UK Executive then the society would have been spared so many malaise, so many misrepresentations There is a serious central lie at work in the excuses that Gordon Brown has been making for instance to explain the current economic problems. He is blaming the rest of the world. Just as Alistair Darling did Darling the ‘Treasury Questions’ this morning [Thursday 10 July 2008]... Instead of addressing the deficit of democracy and attacking dishonesty, Ken Livingstone was revelling in the defect has been Livingstone;s career.... Within minutes [on Monday 24 April 2006] of aadhikaronline reporting the Conservative Party Chair Francis Maude's backing to Khoodeelaar! No to Crossrail hole Bill campaign, London Mayor Ken Livingstone had his office send a strange communication to Khoodeelaar! The legal and democratic significance of the Ken Livingstone communication are enormous, especially in the last week before the scheduled local elections on 4 May 2006
1. Within minutes [on Monday 24 April 2006] of aadhikaronline reporting the Conservative Party Chair Francis Maude's backing to Khoodeelaar! No to Crossrail hole Bill campaign, London Mayor Ken Livingstone had his office send a strange communication to Khoodeelaar! The legal and democratic significance of the Ken Livingstone communication are enormous, especially in the last week before the scheduled local elections on 4 May 2006
2. That communication from the head of Ken Livingstone’s transport department, effectively says that the Khoodeelaar! demands for Ken Livingstone to make full disclosure of all his communications with the clique of corrupt controllers of Tower Hamlets Council are too expensive for the London Mayor to comply with !
3. There is no specific item that the London Mayor has identified in his mayor communication to Khoodeelaar on Monday 24 April 2006 as constituting an allegedly over-the-permitted limit of administration cost request under the Freed of Information Act.
4. The key point is that Khoodeelaar! the campaign against the CrossRail hole Bill attacks plan on the Brick Lane London E1 area, has been issuing ken Livingstone with a series of pre-action [letter before claim] communications and the London mayor has now run out of excuses.
5. At the centre of the Khoodeelaar legal action claims against Ken Livingstone lies in the fact that the mayor has persistently misled Londoners generally and the UK Parliament through his undisclosed deals with the Transport Department and in particular the people of the East End community affected by the CrossRail hole plan.
6. Khoodeelaar! delivered the first demand to ken Livingstone for confirming a number of facts that were linked with the mayor’s release of a news item on 24 March 2006.
7. That was followed within a day or two by other calls on Livingstone to disclose the facts of his dealing with the controlling clique on Tower Hamlets Council.
8. It was again repeated by Khoodeelaar! no to Crossrail hole campaign updating their calls on Livingstone to deal with the factual questions that arose about the stunt from the written statement about the CrossRail hole Bill that was issued in the UK House of Commons by CrossRail hole Minister Alistair Darling on 30 March 2006.
9. The mayor is on record as having touted for the enlisting of the ‘leaders’ and ‘lead members’ of a number of local councils, including the then leader of Tower Hamlets Council [Helal Uddin Abbas] in February 2004 as part of the Livingstone lobby for CrossRail plan.
10. In a Crossrail-hole-plan promotional ‘letter’ published in 2004 under the name of Ken Livingstone together with the names of Helal Uddin Abbas and others from other local Councils, the promotion of CrossRail was made without a single qualification let alone reservation.
11. Khoodeelaar! immediately wrote to both Livingstone and demanded that the Evening Standard publish the truth about the CrossRail hole plan. Khoodeelaar! campaign organiser Muhammad Haque told the Editor of the London EVENING STANDARD that their failure to publish the truth about the CrossRail plan [as it still was - because the CrossRail hole Bill was not put before the House of Commons until 22 February 2005, almost a year after Khoodeelaar! campaign organiser Muhammad Haque was having the series of demands put on Ken Livingstone and Christine Gilbert to tell the truth of their then role in promoting the CrossRail plan. The EVENING STANDARD failed to publish the truth. As did Ken Livingstone.

That was in February 2004.
13. Khoodeelaar! Organiser Muhammad Haque also wrote to Tower Hamlets Council chief Executive Christine Gilbert in February 2004 and in March 2004 asking for a series of detailed answers to questions about her own role in promoting the CrossRail hole plan including the question as to what advice, if any, had she, Christine Gilbert, given to the ruling clique or group on the Tower Hamlets Council. There was no reply. There has been no reply.
14. When Khoodeelaar! issued the latest then updated series of legal claims against Alistair Darling, ken Livingstone, Christine Gilbert and a few others and said that the application to the High Court in London against them would be filed on Monday 27 March 2006, a number of things immediately happened.
15. Ken Livingstone suddenly issued a news release on 24 March 2006 saying that the CrossRail Dirt hole in the Brick Lane London E1 had been scrapped!
16. And that Ken Livingstone Crossrail-Dirt-hole plan against Brick Lane London E1 area scrapping stunt announcement was then used as the peg for the evening TV news which featured the entire cabal of self-seeking politicos doing their fame slots and assorted other fantasies. They were given more time than khoodeelaar! campaign organiser Muhammad Haque who did say on the record [BBC London News, Friday 24 April 2006] that as far as Khoodeelaar! was concerned, they had immediately asked Livingstone to substantiate the claims of the scrapping of the Crossrail Dirty hole plan and demanded that Livingstone to answer the outstanding detailed KHOODEELAAR! no to CrossRail hole questions that had been put to him as based on his unqualified plugs for the CrossRail plan over the previous years
17. Accordingly, Muhammad Haque and Khoodeelaar! campaign sent the detailed further questions immediately and also went to City hall on Monday 3 April 2006 and delivered a series of questions for Livingstone to deal with.
18. On the same occasion [3 April 2006] Khoodeelaar demonstrated the campaign’s opposition to Ken Livingstone's role so far and demanded that Livingstone come out with the overdue answers to the extensive and the very comprehensive KHOODEELAAR! No to the Crossrail hole questions which had arisen from Livingstone’s stunt staged on Friday 24 March 2006 about the alleged scrapping of the CrossRail Dirt hole.
19. Livingstone remained silent
20. Until the aadhikaronline news carried the first detailed transcripts of the Khoodeelaar! Organiser’s Questions and answers encounter with Conservative party chair Francis Maude in Brick Lane in the mid afternoon of Monday 24 April 2006.
21. Ken Livingstone’s head of Transports sent an e-mail which is full of typical Ken Livingstone's dissembling. The concept of dissembling as associated with ken Livingstone on 24 April 2006 had already been spotted and identified a month previously [on Friday 24 March 2006] out by Khoodeelaar organiser Muhammad Haque in his news interview with the BBC London political editor Tim Donovan on that date [Friday 24 March 2006].
