KHOODEELAAR! Q to UK Tory front bench 'economics' ‘realist’ Ken Clarke: How do you justify the poverty-creating Crossrail £Billions .....

This KHOODEELAAR! commentary contains a link to the London Guardian which is plugging a 'book' by Nick Cohen who is now appearing to be concerned about things that he has not been before... Not in his own role as a propagandist for the very culture of discrimination, violation and racism... More on Nick Cohen in a later piece or pieces... for now, we are including the link for reference only... In due course we shall treat BOTH Ken Clarke and Nick Cohen as being almost identical, in so far as their roles in effect as BACKERS of the status quo and in giving comfort to the creators of poverty and discrimination...This notwithstanding Ken Clarke’s appearance on the airwaves during Sunday as a ‘critic’ of ‘possible corruption’ linked with the 4 peers as publicised in the Sunday Times…… [To be continued]

Agenda Inner Cities in association with KHOODEELAAR! asking UK Tory ‘Business’ Shadow [in the UK Parliament, the portfolio fronted for Gordon Brown’s Blaired Regime by Peter Mandelson in the House of Peers, in the news now, at 26 January 2009, over at least four ‘peers’ being ,linked with ‘cash for legislation’]:

What ‘answers’ have you, Ken Clarke, to offer on so many questions concerning the ‘business’ of poverty in the inner cities? How do you see the poverty agenda in the inner cities going, in the knowledge that yesterday the Mail On Sunday featured you as having received cash and other benefits of at least £1Million from the Tobacco lobby? Do you even have the capacity to recognise what poverty in the inner cities is? Can you relate to the ‘businesses; in the inner cities? What do you make of the ‘news’ in today’s’ UK media., promoting the ‘charity’ ‘Centre for Cities’ claiming that cities are set to experience hardship in the economic downturn and recession? Do you see the link between Hull and the Hamlets in inner city London? Have you even heard of Bechtel? Of course you have, Bechtel! They are referred to in a rare piece published in 'Private Eye' [in 2008] stating that they were the most influential 'force' in getting the ‘CrossRail Bill’ through the UK parliament which duly rubber stamped it into the ‘CrossRail Act’. ‘Private Eye’ also stated that the relevant link was an aide who in turn was linked with former holder of the post of UK Transport Secretary Douglas Alexander [who came into that post after Alistair Darling ,the 'Crossrail; Bill'-promoting holder of the same post in February 2005, had been shifted to the department that had Energy as part of its brief] was made aware of the poverty-creating implications of the CRASSrail scam. But whilst in office, Alexander failed to make any comments on poverty or on the wastefulness of CrossRail. Or on the diversionary role of the same.. ‘Private Eye’ stated that the Bechtel corporation of the USA employed one of Alexander’s former aides to act as the crucial lobbyist. That engagement clinched the deal for Bechtel and the ‘Crossrail Bill’ was rubber stamped into the ‘Crossrail Act’. In light of today’s retailing of the obvious, that the cities are going to experience the recession, what advice do you have, assuming that you are even bothered about inner cities and poverty, on the best and economically the most productive use of the £16 to £29Buillion that will be spent on Crossrail? Why address you? Oh the little matter of your reported emergence as a more realistic appreciator of Gordon Brown’s ‘national emergency’….What is that ‘national emergency’, by the way? And who are supposed to be the custodians, consciences of the ‘nation’? Does poverty constitute any significant part of the ‘national emergency’? Or is it expected to ‘increase and expand’ , in the ‘national ‘ interest? Or would you rather agree that ‘in the national interest, a good deal of ADDITIONAL poverty is not only inevitable but almost certainly justified and DEMANDED’ ???? As long as the ‘national’ reference is capable of being sold as the plausible cover to conceal the new round of looting of the ‘nation’s’ resources by the banks and by the big business and their relevant partners in the Military industrial Complex??? Of which Complex the Bechtel corporation is a robust and promonet part, including in Iraq? We in the inner city parts of the ANXIOUSLY await the definitive answers on ‘eradicating poverty’ from Ken Clarke the NEW Economics commentator on the Tory front bench……[To be continued]
