The 'London local' 'newspaper' is continuing to lie about the state of Transport for London. Although the headline [see in our reproduction from the paper's web site, accessible by clicking on the heading to THIS commenatry ] appears to suggest that it is being accurate and truthful, the real truth is that it is hiding the extent of the morass and incompetence and mismanagement that Transport for London is in....

Especially where it concerns the TfL's continuing bid to get more public funding for Crossrail, the LYING EVENING STANDARD lies for Crossrail and makes NOT ONE SINGLE comment about the suitability of TfL to be allowed to make the claims that it has been allowed to make as the right 'body' to make the claims to handle, allocate and spend £Billions of public money IN THE NAME of transport in London .....
