The following advice by KHOODEELAAR! Organiser Muhammad Haque to D Cameron was posted on the web site f the London daily Telegraph at 1000 Hrs GMT Friday 20 March 2009:
Cameron can start making ethical savings by scrapping the '£16Billion' Crossrail. Channel 4 News reported in October 2007, that Gordn Brown had made the funding commitment to Crossrail AGAINST the advice of Rod Eddington. Eddington had been specially commissioned by Brown while UK finance minister to look at the UK railway transport. So Eddington was crucial on several relevant and uptodate levels. If he found Crossrail to be peripheral then common sense says that the project is at best in need of a thorough reexamination. Will Cameron show if he has what it takes? Or is he going to prevaricate to accommodate Big Business cabals that is really the lobby behind Crossrail, and let a hill of Crossrail debts build up when the money is much better applied to delivering EXISTING services to the standard required but so far denied by the Brown-fronted Blaired regime? 1000 Hrs GMT 20 March 2009
