As it has become clear that the statement as contained
in the texts of the news item published by the ‘East
London Advertiser’ dated 18-19 December 2007 [on the
website] and 20 December 2007 [in the print edition of
the ‘weekly’ newspaper’] and as attributed to the
controlling group on Tower Hamlets Council about the
Crossrail hole in particular affecting the Hanbury
Street [and Princelet Street] was inaccurate and or
misleading and or untrue, we are making this formal
and final request for an explanation as to why the
item was published by you in the way that it was.
