KHOODEELAAR! TOLD YOU SO! that Gordon Brown was wrong to 'commit' [that is a core word, more on that one here, shortly] £Billions of UK public money to fund the Military Industrial Complex-craved ‘Crossrail’ scam...

Now EVEN the BUILDING magazine web site is carrying comments from ‘outraged’ ‘British’ ‘readers’; who appear to be 'realizing' how wrong the Bechtel-craved Crossrail scam is...

The KHOODEELAAR! question is: what were THEY doing for 5 years and 3 months during which time KHOODEELAAR! had been campaigning [as it is continuing to do NOW] against CRASS Crossrail and its crass consequences for the economy, not to speak about the environment and the rest of the society?

And will THEY now at last listen to what KHOODEELAAR! is now saying?

Will they acknowledge the fact that in the UK economy, the priorities for public sector investments have been made without due examination of the evidence.

That the prioritization must be made by looking at the evidence and targeting the resources at parts of the economy where the funding is needed .. As opposed to the Brown-fronted Blaired regime caving in to or colluding with the agencies of the Military Industrial Complex and letting them have the funds while the economy continues to suffer...

In the context of the KHOODEELAAR! campaign against the Crassrail debts-causing, debts-adding, poverty-creating funding from the UK public and the campaign against the crass plugs about alleged benefits that CRASSrail would bring to the inner city East End of London, it is worth pointing out IN THIS LATEST CONTEXT that on 17 December 2008 KHOODEELAAR! formally told the CRASSrail-hole-scam-inviting clique on the ‘local’ Tower Hamlets Council that such claims of Crassrail beneFITS WERE UNJUSTIFIED. That they were unsupportable. That the claims were unfounded. That the East End people would NOT benefit. That the jobs, if ANY. that might be ‘done’ physically on locations in the East End of London, would NOT go to the people in the East End of London. That that had been one of the key analytical findings by KHOODEELAAR! straight from the start. That the ‘local’ Tower Hamlets Council owed a clear and immediate duty to stop acting as a tout for Big Business interests that were embarked on using the East End to further widen and add to the area’s deprivation and disenfranchisement. That of ALL the places in the UK, the Isle of Dogs was the most visible example of Big Business lies and the Big Business taking over ‘derelict’ parts to further deprive an area’s ordinary population...That CROSSRAIL was crass also because of the crassness that is found in all the peddling that is done for it by the Tower Hamlets Council...And by the other outfits touting for the agenda of Bechtel, Big Business...[To be continued]
