KHOODEELAAR! TOLD YOU SO! Clare Short is late! And Clare is still off the democratic, ethical, constitutional, objective international justice and truthfulness target. Clare is patronising in her own way. OK, Clare is MATRONising then. But she is not telling the whole truth and she is not telling it in time let alone on time. MPs in the UK House of Commons should not be allowed to claim to be peoples' representatives if they do not always tell the truth. Clare has not always told the truth. Not really? Here is a starter: Where was she on 19 July 2005 when the relevant number of OVERWHELMING majority of MPs voted for the Crassly conceived Crossrail scam in the UK House of Commons that Alistair Darling [on 22 February 2005] had introduced by perpetrating a lie in favour of the same Big Business MIC Crossrail scam? Was she above us in the inner city east End of London and is that why she had failed to see the onslaught that Crossrail had contained in the planned hole attacks on our community, economy, environment and on our entitlement to having democratic say on what is plotted against our home location ?
Today’s display of the Parliament of Liars in Britain, as staged via the outfit they have been calling the Chilcot Inquiry into Bliar’s Invasion of Iraq, has reinforced the evidential foundation of our diagnostic conclusion: that the UK lacks a Parliament worthy of the name. That the UK people very badly need a truthful parliament. A parliament that can be trusted to find the truth and to look for the truth at all times. On all issues. From the Big Business ‘Big Infrastructure’ hyped Crossrail  scam to the fanatic empire-perpetrators’ Iraq invasion scam. From the needs of day today life to the examination of any case made by the Military Industrial Complex for causing or engaging in war. From making war in  the conventional way to seeking excuses and pretexts for wars in  unconventional and hitherto un-witnessed arenas. From violating other peoples’ sovereignty to violating ‘citizens’ rights and liberties. And all that those entail. About freedom. About civil liberties. About freedom of speech. About real constitutional rights and democratic say.

That all touts for big business 'MIC’ [=’Military Industrial Complex’] agenda , inside and outside of the Palace of Ghostsminster, had been operating knowingly and callously to defy the universal demands of democratic audit and accountability. That big business 'MIC' touts in the uk 'Palace of Ghostsminster' are drawn - nay, recruited - from and via all the  mainstream and not so mainstream parties parading in the same ‘Palace’ under various facades of ‘democracy’ and even more outrageously claiming to be telling the truth [!], are, have been and will remain the same: organised and individual liars. Liars to the people. Liars to the voters. Liars to the society. Liars to the world. That the ‘world economic crisis’  of which the imprudent and the ignorant holders of offices of power in the USA and the UK have claimed exclusive knowledge and insight have been caused by the same packs of liars in power lying to the public…. Clare Short is late, as usual. And she is not really telling the truth herself either. She is different only in that she is telling the partial truth and is doing so mainly by opportunistically distancing herself  from the real perpetrators as based on her own personal career and agenda. Clare Short was NEVER any different from the pack of  non-USA neo-con touts as typified by Tony Bliar. The only difference between those and Clare Short was that she sought to enhance herself as a ‘member of the’ groups that were and remain the argents of empire and imperialism. She is as ignorant and unreliable as the others. And her entire career before and in Parliament is replete with evidence of her opportunism. That she has broken loose from the . Extrapolate Clare Short and you come up against similarly opportunistic practitioners of partial truth all over the place;  in the Palace of Ghostsminster and beyond.  That Clare Short can make the claims she has been making about her ’stance’ on the lying Blair’s defiance of the presumed conventions of parliament and of cabinet responsibility is an illustration of the low level of reporting and even lower level of public scrutiny that obtain in the UK. Short was a plaice-woman through and through. She has performed today s one. The difference between her and her suggested opposites is one of degree of hierocracy, racism, prejudice, ignorance, dishonesty and lying. That she has been one time-server, was evident in the fact that she clung on to power until, it became impossible to stop the tabloids parading her as a liar and a fraud herself. [To be continued]

LIVE: Clare Short at Iraq inquiry

1.04pm Well, Claire Short certainly did not pull any punches. She told the Iraq Inquiry today that:
- Tony Blair lied in the build up to war
- He deceived her about his commitment to UN involvement
- The Cabinet never had meaningful debates about Iraq (or, indeed, anything else)
- The House of Commons was just a rubber stamp
- Britain could have exerted influence over America but we "humiliated ourselves" instead
- The Attorney General misled Cabinet over the legality of the war
- She warned Mr Blair about the threat of a humanitarian catastrophe but he did nothing to delay the war
- Britain and America failed to meet their obligations under the Geneva Convention by ensuring the security of Iraq while they were occupying powers
12.53pm For the first time during these hearings, the end of Ms Short's evidence is greeted by strong applause and, at least a partial, standing ovation.
12.52pm Ms Short is asked for the lessons we should learn from the episode. She says there are four.
1. If we are in a post-conflict situation DfID must be involved with every element of Whitehall planning

I fear this whole debarkle is of no consequence accept to highlight the disolutionment people have of government and to show how easy it is for a democratic government to do what the hell they like!

We should ask (most respectfully) Her Majesty,

I know what she’s going to say (believe me):
“Tony misled me!”

Might one perhaps fairly opine that perhaps someone capable of doing the job of a cabinet minister ought to be a little harder to mislead?

If all politicians were more like Clare Short, namely in possession of integrity, we would not be in this mess and have little need for futile enquiries at public expense.

There may be some truth in what Ms Short claims, but I don't hear any of the other former cabinet mambers making the same claims.

So your politicians are paragons of virtue, and to be trusted with everything then?
