What are CrossRail plugs like?
Like the ITV London news at lunchtime today [Tuesday 14 December 2010] when an item fronted by Daisy Gray was carried for Crossrail about the Tottenham Court station.
It was a lengthy plug in the context of the brief length of the entire ITV London midday news bulletin.
The item was loaded with references to the word Crossrail. But they left out the real truth. They claimed that the Tottenham Court Road Crossrail station would be the biggest transport hub in London when operational in 2018. But they gave no evidence to substantiate that claim.
