The KHOODEELAAR! movement in defence of the inner city East End of London UK against the “Big Business Crossrail hole plot agenda.”...Legal action programme update 1140 GMT London Wednesday 23 July 2008::

The level 2 action is aimed at holding to account those of the media of communication that have had - an are continuing to have an impact in giving information about Govt decisions affecting the public. On the evidence of their conduct, the Khoodeelaar! campaign has always maintained that at the appropriate time and in the appropriate forum, action would be taken against the media for conveying lies falsehoods and untruths for the CRASSrail hole plot....

The media is here defined as the commercially run print titles [='press’ ‘journalism’ ‘trade' word for the 'name' of the newspaper or magazine, historically has also been called the 'masthead'] within the relevant circulation areas covering or including the area of the primary action against Crossrail hole agenda that Khoodeelaar! has been advocating the rights of.....

The media INCLUDE print, tv and radio outlets.

One of the print titles is of course the monopoly London ‘evening’ paper the EVENING nostandards STANDARD.

Why the action?

Because without legal action to hold the papers to account, there is no practical way to do the same. And without getting the print titles to tell the truth about the matter, there is real danger and serious evidence that the Big Business Crossrail, hole agenda is being allowed to gobble up huge sums of public money without ‘value’ for the same accruing to society....

ALL aspects of the media’s behaviour will be addressed . And this is not a new statement. In the period July 2004 [when the KHOODEELAAR! campaign against Crossrail went online on a daily basis - that frequency has since reached an hourly basis which is what we do now] , we have detailed the key incidents, misconduct, fabrication, misstatement of the lies for Big business that these titles have carried. No title has done more lying for Crossrail hole agenda than the London EVENING nostandards STANDARD.

And it is doing so today Wednesday 23 July 2008. In the first edition the EVENING Nostandards STANDARD runs this triply untrue and untruthful heading bragging of the contextually insignificant royal; assent that the ‘Crossrail Bill’ was stamped with yesterday [Tuesday 22 July 2008]:
