KHOODEELAAR! No to “Big Business, Crossrail hole agenda...” CAMPAIGN told you so! That one persistent reason why poverty, discrimination, income disparity, lack of community cohesion, social exclusion and violations of fundamental, universally recognisable human rights continue to go on and keep rising in the UK is the absence of an accountable, truthful, truth-seeking democratic, parliamentary atmosphere in this country....Another reason is the absence of an independent media.....This sentence could not be more ironic, given that the LOndon newspaper, so-called as ‘the INDEPENDENT’ has been, as KHOODEELAAR! pointed out on Sunday [17 August 2008], one of the willing partners in the peddling of the USA Big Business and Military Industrial Complex partner BECHTEL. The oozing praise for BECHTEL, no, the almost worshipping promotion of both BECHTEL and the Hong Kong  project-scandal man Douglas Oakervee [installed as Crossrail controlling pots holder by Ken Livingstone]  which the London INDEPENDENT has again committed, as now been repeated, as their own, by the Big Business agenda-carrying ‘trade’ publication and web sites, warrants a contextual update and constitutional law analysis. There is no hiding the open, the brazen, the CORRUPT and the corrupting promotion by the INDEPENDENT newspaper of BECHTEL and OAKERVEE and of the entire paraphernalia of Big Business controlling the UK parliament. In its brazen promotion of BECHTEL the London INDEPENDENT stated [on Sunday 17 August 2008 when it published its latest plug for the USA Military Industrial complex partner BECHTEL], with no qualification, no irony, no reservation, no question, the ‘fact’ that it was BECHTEL that played the key part in getting the CRASSrail hole agenda through the UK Parliament. The INDEPENDENT thus showing where its LOYALTIES lie . In this [latest] commentary and historic analysis, the KHOODEELAAR!  campaign against the “Crossrail hole plot ....” puts on the record the fact that it is the same title, the INDEPENDENT that became the topic and the centre of an unprecedented advertising slogan. ‘It is. Are you?’ when the title had been launched in London, as fronted by Andreas Whittam-Smith. Of the ‘journalistic values’, of the ‘journalistic ethics’ that the Andreas Whit tam-Smith-fronted ‘INDEPENDENT’ boasted were the two items then in active practice by the so-called rival titled, including by the then Peter POISON PRESTON-’edited’ GUARDIAN> One was the lobby. And the other was the UK ‘Royal family.’ The Andreas Whittam-Smith-ed ‘INDEPENDENT’ boasted then that the  INDEPENDENT would not recognise the lobby on principle and that for the same reason it would not cover ‘Royal family’ goings-on..... It is the LOBBY that has now returned to expose the total corruption of the INDEPENDENT Although the word ‘lobby’ was then [late 1980s, UK - no TV as is known in August 2008, no intern et, no mobile, no online access to videos or repeats.... the print media still treated as and considered to be the main source of political ‘news’ and commentary]  related in the context of the Margaret Thatcher  spin meister [and the ex-Guardian employee]  BERNARD INGHAM talking to selected newspaper [and the handful of TV] ‘correspondents’  on behalf of Margaret Thatcher without being prepared to be named or identified, the term ‘lobby’ also refers to the operation of the Influence and the power over the UK Government and over the UK "Parliament" by  various agencies and elements. In the case of the ‘CROSSRAIL’ ‘hybrid’ ‘Bill’, that was ‘deposited’ in the UK House of Commons on  February 2005 and was still there on 22 July 2008 [the date it was given the ritualistic ‘Royal Assent’], the LOBBY was operated via the UK Department for Transport acting as the willing tool for BECHTEL which exerted the necessary controlling influence on the DfT and ‘secured’ the compliance with its agenda by the various bureaucracies existing in the name of the UK Houses of Parliament. The BECHTEL-exeted lobby in treating the entirety of the UK Parliament [both formally named Houses] for the BIG BUSINESS interests as seen in the contents of the CROSSRAIL BILL, was, belated and very briefly, recognised in a rare piece on the subject as published by the Ian Hislopped PRIVATE EYE [where the ‘main’ ‘political thinking’ is done by Frantic Whine= ‘Francis Wheen’] which stated that the ‘CROSSRAIL’ scam [this is KHOODEELAAR! analytical word for the CRASS scam, not PRIVATE  LIE’s]  was being given the Gordon Brown backing due to the fact that BECHTEL had employed one of Douglas Alexander’s close associates..... Frantic Whine and Private LIE have both been significantly silent over CROSSRAIL for almost all of the  3 years and five months that the CRASSRAIL BILL  was getting the massage [=’passage’]  in the BECHTEL- stooged UK  Parliament ...
