KHOODEELAAR! Constitutional law action programme is this week adding to the list of evidence the behaviour of the Press complaints commission.
The Press Complaints Commission [=PCC], London, is not a real regulator of newspapers. It is in effect owned by some of the big print media conglomerates in the UK. The PCC therefore never really has any influence on the 'press' in the UK. Except when it needs to promote its own existence. And this is done whenever a 'royal' or a similarly 'celebrity complaint' is lodged with it.
For ordinary people and communities, the PCC is an insult to the intelligence.
And the PCC is just as bad if not worse than OFCOM, the so-called broadcasting regulatory outfit.
How is this conclusion arrived at?
For the purpose of understanding what has been going on in the 'East End of London, we refer and shall refer in this context to the behaviour of the 'local' 'East London Idiotiser'.
Twisting of the truth 'via' Tower Hamlets Council……
The ‘local ‘ ‘newspaper’ circulating in decreasing numbers in the area corresponding to the London Borough of Tower Hamlets is again boasting about its power and influence on the local Tower Hamlets Council.
It has posted a piece on its web site [which is very recent as compared to some real local newspapers in London areas] making the point that Tower Hamlets Council began to backtrack on the ‘extension of Ramadan rule to non Muslims [including to non Muslim councillors] soon after the ‘East London Idiotiser’ got contracted about the original item.
This is not the first such assertion.
The ARCHANT-owned ‘newspaper’ has been carrying frequently claims that its power and influence are unparalleled.
Looking at the number of lies that it has been initiating as the Rightwing elements in the UK media follow its ‘tip offs’ by publishing plainly racist pieces aimed at the ‘Muslim composition’ of the council, it is a fact that the ‘East London Idiotiser’ has become the main taunter of the ‘Muslim’ component of the Council.
The ‘East London Idiotiser’ is also in close collaboration with the pro-racists elements that want to promote the Metropolitan Police as being particularly attentive on finding ‘Muslims’ engaged in crime.
Similarly, the ‘East London Idiotiser' is also in close contact with the likes of the racist ‘Queen Mary College’ which is as actively engaged as an institution in propaganda against ‘Muslims’ as it could ever do without the country changing into a fully fledged officially racist one.

We shall be taking an issue-by-issue look at the Racist Idiotiser in the course of this series.
Back to the pro-racist aping by the ‘English language’ titles in some English language-colonially ‘remote’ parts of the world.
In Qatar for instance, there is a title that is as ignorantly ‘edited’ as the ‘East London Idiotiser’.
They appear to have picked up the ‘story’ and decided to ‘search’ via Google for a picture of the man they describe on their web site as ‘John Williams’.
To such an extent that they have even created a wholly ‘bearded’ photo of a man they are calling ‘John Williams’ whose ‘request’ about ‘eating during meetings’ was used by the ‘leader’ of a group of 4 councillors to cause the latest propaganda onslaught against the image of ‘Muslims’ in the East End borough.
The man shown in the photograph is NOT the John Williams who is the ‘head of democratic services’ at Tower Hamlets Council.
John Williams does not have a beard.
The man shown in the photograph does.
But that is not the only distortion of the truth.
The other is that John Williams did not, could not, order councillors to do anything.
And he did not order any councillor to do anything in his particular memo either.
What his memo, even in the incomplete texts that have been publicised by the Rightwing media, says is makes a request that has nothing wrong in it at all.
It REQUESTS councillors to show respect to those councillors who may be fasting.
The showing of the respect would have been ASSUMED in a Council if it was known to have members who needed no education about the community.
But more important than this is the fact that the ‘memo’ got taken up by the ‘local’ ‘East London Idiotiser’ at all.
What is the point of giving the requ4est the anti-Muslim publicity that the ‘East London Idiotiser’ did give it?
The answer is quite clear: the ‘East London Idiotiser’ is desperate for attention.
And the attention - the only attention that it can get about the ‘local Council’ is by having a go at ‘the Muslim’ councillors!
How is that so?
By the records of the ‘East London Idiotiser’.

The pattern being followed by the circulation-losing ‘East London Idiotiser’ is that it is forever looking out for weird, politically irrelevant and insignificant elements to be featured in the ‘newspaper’.
The Idiotiser has NOT ONCE in the past 100 years played ANY sustained ‘campaigning’; role about anything that maters to ordinary people in the East End of London.
Yet the ‘ARCHANT’-employed ‘journalists’ on the Idiotiser are now prancing about all manner of ‘achievements’ by the 'paper' that the facts do not support.
The fantasy ‘news’ items that the Idiotiser has been apparently running - by ‘apparently’ we here mean carrying in flyers, in promotion pieces that by association SUGGEST that they are news when the fact is that they are plain lies - include the assertion that Patsy Kensit is a HISTORIAN!
Not that Patsy Kensit was the subject of one of the BBC’s own self-promoting features concerning sub-celebrities and their family ‘backgrounds’, but a historian. No condition attached to that brazen assertion….
The other fantasy is the claim the Idiotiser has been making about being the ‘campaigner’ to save the ‘local history library’.
And the conferring of the title of ‘historian’ on Patsy Kensit is linked with the fact that she was GUIDED under the BBC’s control to look at her East End of London ancestry….
But the Idiotiser cannot tell the truth about Patsy Kensit!
Even when it desperately needs to show that a ‘star’ is ‘backing the Idiotiser’ in its fatuously asserted campaign…
The real campaigns are ignored by the Idiotiser as always…
No wonder the ‘title’ has lost another 4 per cent of readers in the last year under audit…
