KHOODEELAAR! has been at the forefront of the reporting on the fact that London CROSSRAIL was being CRASSly conceived, promoted and sold AT THE EXPENSE of the transport economic needs of the rest of the UK.

In fact, the RECORDED published evidence shows that KHOODEELAAR! has taken the exclusive lead in establishing this analytical approach.
That London is being oversold by denying the regions the investment and the attention by the UK central Govt.
Today [Monday 18 August 2008], the YORKSHIRE POST in effect acknowledges this:

concern over the capacity of London's infrastructure. On current projections, and much to the chagrin of city leaders elsewhere, London has already bagged itself £16bn for Crossrail. Actively incentivising an acceleration of this migrationary trend is difficult to comprehend. Surely continuing the growth of cities outside London alleviates this and equivalent transformational improvements in infrastructure there are likely to be less expensive.
