The abysmal failures of the 2012 Games Hosting bureaucracy cobbled together by an assortment of time-serving self-seekers in the name of the UK to produce accountability to the UK public continue unabated. Not one day passes without new [or, rather, updated] evidence emerging that shows that Ken Livingstone’s grotesque boast, allowed by David Dimbleby on the BBC Question Time in April 2008, to the effect that the 2012 bid had been based on Livingstone’s lying to the world, was not a one-off disgrace. In his bragging about lying for the London bid on the 2012 Games, Livingstone ‘explained’ to the audience of that ‘special mayoral edition’ of the BBC ‘Question Time’ that he had lied because telling the truth would not get the 2012 Games hosting to London ! He ‘added’ a really obscene note and said that his LYING was the only way to ‘regenerate’ the East End of London.

He meant DEGENERATE. He could have only meant further DEGENERATE…. Ken Livingstone’s lying career has been built on that trait: his facility with lying. And the running ‘mystery’ as to why the mainstream media continue to allow the liar to lie on. It is no mystery at all, when the evidence of the media behaviour and the agenda underlying it is assessed. Objectively. Universally. And in the context of decades of behaviour by the media.

No organisation is more topical and more typical of the mainstream UK media than the BBC. The Corporation’s boasts on Thursday 22 October 2009 as shown to be uttered by current deputy Director General Mark Buford, that they were allowing a particular member of a particular organisation to make an appearance on the same programme [separated by 17 months from its April 2008 edition featuring the lying Ken Livingstone] had been solely linked with the BBC’s commitment to ‘impartiality’ was as untruthful and fraudulent as the same Corporation’s blanket suppression of MOST news, views and information over the decades. It was no surprise they
had allowed Ken Livingstone to utter such a staggering confession and a lie. Confess to a lie that continues to affect the lives of thoausds of people in the East End of London.

But they [David Dimbleby and the ‘Editor’ and the ‘Producer’ of the ‘Question Time’ in April 2008] let him get away. Apart from the hereditary presenter David Dimbleby asking a pathetically tokenistic qoton, there was no examination of Ken Livingstone over his bragging of the 2012 Games bid lie at the expense of the people of London. There was no follow up story on the BBC. Nor indeed on any other media. Incredible. [To be continued]
