KHOODEELAAR! No to “Big Business SCAM Crossrail holes…” CAMPAIGN updating on the evidence of the ‘mainstream’ ‘British’ media outlets maintaining the corrupt practice of publishing half truths untruths and downright lies on issues like the environment and the economy…..
As they are doing at this stage of today [2115 Hrs GMT London Sunday 11 January 2009] on the Third Runway at Heathrow which some of the media are prominently and positively reporting as being condemnable as a ‘White Elephant’ while they are refusing to put the same label on the equally unjustifiable and wasteful Crossrail…..
On all criteria of ‘sound economics’, ‘sound finance’, ‘sound environmental’ policies, the Crossrail scam falls and cannot be justified in the context of the needs of the people in and around London…
Yet the ‘mainstream’ ‘British’ media outlets are continuing to fake their ‘vigilance’ [!!!!] on it by allowing the Crossrail peddlers to receive nothing but glowing coverage… As we pointed out earlier today about the BBC’s reporting of the diversionary ‘Crossrail station’… The ‘local’ ‘East London Idiotiser’ has been doing its own faking for CRASSrail over the past few months, running items of the most idiotic significance and failing to mention the campaign against the Crossrail hole scam.. The ‘East London Idiotiser current owners, ARCHANT have also abused their monopoly 'circulation' 'market' position via and over the ‘Newham Recorder’ group, which too has been running infantile, irresponsible and plainly untruthful promotion items for Crossrail… Whereas the Crossrail ‘line’ is not supposed to be ready for another 10 years, the ‘East London Idiotiser’ and the ‘Newham Recorder’;, has been publishing items that suggest that Crossrail is ALREADY running or may begin to ruin in a matter of weeks or months…Even by their own loose ‘standards’ of ‘journalism’, the actual contents of the Crossrail hyping items do not have any substance to justify the exaggerated claims for CRASSrail that they publish.. So what is the reason for these acts of falsehood, fabrication and lies by the ‘mainstream’ ‘British’ media outlets? It could only be the secret links between the agencies that are operating for Big Business elements and the personnel who make the decisions about what goes into the ‘news’ pages and spots of the ‘mainstream’ ‘British’ media outlets … And this means that the media are piling up problems for ordinary people by suppressing the truth about the costs and the debts and the adverse social consequences of making £Billions of public money available to fund the scam that will enrich the looters who are calling the agenda of the UK Department for Transport and allied other parts of the Brown-fronted Blairing regime and Government in the UK today…[To be continued]

KHOODEELAAR! pointing out how the Mark Thompson-fronted BBC remains a deeply dishonest and duplicitous 'broadcaster' of 'news'.

KHOODEELAAR! pointing out how the Mark Thompson-fronted BBC remains a deeply dishonest and duplicitous 'broadcaster' of 'news'. ‘News’ that is served to suit the agenda of the UK Govt. acting as a stooge of the corrupt Big Business looters rather than the news to inform the UK public about the truth of the given decisions concerned.......
Apart from the odd and the very rare tokens of truthfulness that the BBC has allowed to occur about Crossrail in the past 5 years, the BBC’s main agenda has been to facilitate the Big Business CROSSRAIL holes scam-peddling liars to prevail. This same BBC policy is being repeated in the BBC's latest plug, posted on the BBC online on Saturday 10 January 2009.
This item [below] is about a Crossrail station.
On the face of it, the item is ‘innocent’ enough. But it is a brainwashing device.
Instead of talking about the uneconomic, debts-creating, poverty-creating role of Crossrail against the ordinary people in inner city East End of London and in similar other parts affected by the scam in other parts of London, instead of talking about Eddington [commissioned by Gordon Brown himself when Brown was still the UK finance Minister in the Blair-fronted Blaired administration to look at the railways system, industry and 'economy' in the UK] and his refusal toe endorse Crossrail, instead of saying that the EXISTING transport infrastructure in London is in more urgent need of investment and upgrading than Crossrail, the BBC is DIVERTING attention to a most perniciously scripted image and myth of ‘good news about Crossrail’. The mythology of the ‘Crossrail station construction’!
We shall show how the same ‘station-construction-fixation’ is being planted, spread and copied and imitated across Tower Hamlets by the touts and peddlers working to the Big Business scam and their agenda...

Crossrail station work to begin
Crossrail is due to open in 2018
Images of the new Tottenham Court Road Station have been released as work on the Crossrail project is due to begin.
The central London Tube station is being redeveloped and a new Crossrail station is being built.
The £16bn Crossrail scheme will connect Maidenhead in Berkshire to Shenfield in Essex via Heathrow airport and London.
Transport for London has warned of delays as work, due to begin on 19 January, will mean changes to bus routes and road closures from Saturday.
At present 150,000 people use Tottenham Court Road with 200,000 commuters expected by the time Crossrail starts running in 2018.
The £1bn redevelopment will mean Tottenham Court Road will become both an Underground station and a Crossrail station.
This will be one of the biggest station redevelopment projects ever undertaken in central London
Transport for London's Richard Parry
There will be an expanded ticket hall as well as new entrances constructed at Dean Street and Charing Cross Road but buildings around the site will have to be demolished.
The junction of Tottenham Court Road and Oxford Street is also being revamped which will add to the disruption to traffic.
Roads have been closed and bus routes diverted, which will remain in place for the seven-year duration of the construction work.
Transport for London's Richard Parry said: "While the entire Crossrail project will be the biggest construction project in Europe, no one should underestimate the scale and extent of the work that will take place at Tottenham Court Road.
"This will be one of the biggest station redevelopment projects ever undertaken in central London."
Preparatory work will begin on 19 January to allow construction to begin in the autumn.

KHOODEELAAR! TOLD YOU SO! We had said Boris Johnson was being less than honest in his faking of backing for Crossrail! Now even the touts admit it!!!

KHOODEELAAR! No to “the pettiness of Crossrail hole scam touts.…”, UPDATING the latest evidence of such behaviour … as retailed by the INDEPENDENT newspaper web site today. [Sunday 11 January 2009] What the INDEPENDENT does NOT say is that Ken Livingstone's pettiness which they report in the item under reference here, is one of the reasons why KHOODEELAAR! has maintained for the past 5 years that anything Livingstone ‘promotes’ must be subjected to the highest standards of scrutiny and rigorous analysis before it is even allowed to be treated as being [objectively speaking] bona fide far less legitimate, far less important .…
The INDEPENDENT itself has failed to follow that path.…
As we have pointed out in the previous post today...
The second point that the INDEPENDENT ‘gossip’ piece fails to recognize, let alone DISSECT and comment on is that buried in their [The INDEPENDENT] own quotes from a surly Ken Livingstone another vindication of the analysis and prediction that KHOODEELAAR! alone made about WHY Boris Johnson was oddly in favour of Crossrail.……

Not since Ted Heath has there been such a sulk in politics. Nine months after he lost the mayoral elections, Ken Livingstone is still sore as a bear. Tomorrow Boris Johnson opens the new Docklands Light Railway extension to Woolwich, a project Ken spent years getting off the ground. Cheesed off that Boris will take the credit, Ken staged a separate launch yesterday. "This is the most significant transport development since the development of the docks," he told me from Woolwich. "It would be nice if we could have a launch of this sort every couple of years, but Boris has stopped all the projects we had planned, except for Crossrail, which he is obliged to go along with by the Government." Ken went on in this vein for some time. Shouldn't he just, like, get over it?

KHOODEELAAR! No to “Crossrail hole scam, Big Business ploy…” campaign UPDATING the evidence of the continuing corruption of ‘mainstream’ ‘journalism’. That the likes of the London ‘Independent on Sunday’ [or the weekday INDEPENDENT] fake it when they pose, as the following item on their web site this afternoon [Sunday 11 January 2009] poses, that they, the editorial decision-makers on the INDEPENDENT newspapers, are on the side of the truth, or on the side of protecting the environment and that they are for ethical and democratic debate and process in Britain that is accountable for the British Government’s and the British State’s decision-making and uses of powers in Government and on behalf of the State in Britain..…. The Independent has often been associated with the Guardian Media Groups’ own fakery as a liberal outlet for the allegedly liberal thinking in the UK…. The fact is that BOTH the INDEPENDENT and the GUARDIAN have been licking the worst side of the entity of the power wielding state and that they have shown this in their blanket promotion of Crossrail,. Scam…. In contrast with that, BOTH have posed as being ‘interested’ in promoting the opposition to the Third Runway at Heathrow……This is for a more obvious reason than may appear to be the case. BOITH the Guardian and the INDEPENDENT belong to the corrupt school of British liberalism and racism….
They BOTH identify with the racist Matthew Parris who in 2005 urged Blair to drive Crossrail through Brick Lane as a de facto punishment for the East End constituency that had voted out Oona King… Oona King, to matthew parries and to the cabals and sewers of his co-racist ‘thinkers’ and presenters given platforms by the BBC and Rupert Murdoch… is not just ‘wholly British’ as compared to the ‘Brick Lane voters’ as RACISTLY DEFINED and prejudicially seen and mispainted by Parris, but she, Oona King, is even ‘more British than the British’….
And when the Bethnal Green and Bow constituency electors voted her out [May 2005], they in fact voted out everything that ‘British’ represented as racistly perceived and prejudicially and wrongly interpreted by the South African-reared, apartheid-imbiber, apartheid-perpetrator Matthew Parris who includes writing speeches and doing research for Margaret Thatcher among his ‘achievements’……
Did Matthew Parris make any contribution to Thatcher’s ‘swamping’ spiel of 1978 ??? The very same racist attack which Thatcher made on the ITV ‘current affairs’ slot then and thus defining herself as the ‘hope and glory’ of a still racist Britain as against the ‘immigrants’ who were making people ‘rather worried’ about being ‘swamped’ by these ‘immigrants’? THIRTY YEARS on, in January 2008, almost an identical ‘swamping’ spirit has been given voice to by ‘Prince’ Harry……..That he could make the ‘Paki’ comment in the way that he did make it is not in itself surprising… But that the Royal Family’ establishment has issued one of the explanations for the ‘Paki’ tag speech/utterance by Harry, is indicative of the atmosphere of racism in the Jacqui Smith-ed, Gordon Brown-fronted BLAIRED state of Britain that influences the ‘thinking’ of every Tom Dick and Harry that is worth mentioning in relation to what constitutes the ‘British Royal family establishment’, says a lot about why they are able to pretend that CROSSRAIL is not only GOOD but vital.…..
Whereas the 3rd Runway at Heathrow is bad and must be stopped…… What is the ‘Paki’ tag that they are attaching to which one of the two liability projects is NOT at all such a deep mystery, as Matthew parries can tell his fellow- British ‘thinkers, commentators, lobbyist and Big Business touts on the ‘mainstream’ ‘British’ media… [To be continued]

Heathrow’s controversial third runway – due to be given the green light by ministers this week – is unlikely ever to be built because it will fall foul of new European pollution laws, environmentalists and senior government advisers believe.
The airport’s two existing runways already cause air pollution which breaches compulsory European Union air-quality standards, which Britain will have to observe by 2015. Neither anti-runway campaigners nor the Government’s Environment Agency see how these can possibly be met if the number of flights rises by 50 per cent as planned.
The Conservative and Liberal Democrat parties have vowed to block the new runway if they are in a position to do so after the next election. They plan to force a parliamentary vote on the project, which would be almost certain to attract Labour rebels.
The go-ahead – pencilled in for confirmation by Geoff Hoon, the Secretary of State for Transport, on Thursday – is to be presented as the centrepiece of a New Deal-style series of public works, like the one president-elect Barack Obama is expected to push through in the US after taking office later this month.
In an attempt to reduce the impact of one of the most hotly contested planning decisions for years, the move will be accompanied by a list of multibillion-pound projects designed to demonstrate the Government’s commitment to improving transport and other facilities across the nation. It will be linked to the establishment of “an international rail hub” at the airport, the Crossrail project, preparations for the London Olympics and plans to accelerate the Government’s school-building programme.
Ministers will also insist that the plans for the runway will have to ensure that the air around Heathrow – already polluted by road traffic as well as by existing flights – does not breach EU limits for nitrogen dioxide, due to come into force next year. Britain can apply for a five-year delay but will have to observe them by 2015.
The British Airports Authority says that new technology and cleaner planes will reduce pollution as to enable the standards to be met, but critics do not see how this can be done if flights rise to more than 700,000 a year, when the existing 480,000 already help to put parts of the area over the limit.
Lord Smith, the chairman of the Environment Agency, said yesterday that the runway could not go ahead unless “very strict pollution limits” were set. He was sceptical that the EU standards could be met, and would prefer that the runway was not built.

As even the PRESS ASSOCIATION is citing a report carried by the same Glasgow Herald, the Scottish transport finance is severely hit by the ongoing unravelling of the corrupt system.…. Yet the same Herald is carrying on with the peddling for a Scottish, obviously smaller, version of the same Crossrail that Ken Livingstone et al peddled in the name of London.…. Yet the same Herald is carrying on with the peddling for a Scottish, obviously smaller, version of the same Crossrail that Ken Livingstone et al peddled in the name of London.…. More KHOODEELAAR! dissection of the ghastly Glasgow Herald stupidity, here in the next 48 hours...

British property developers are set to make a killing from landmark buildings bought to make way for Crossrail, the £16bn Heathrow-to-Essex rail link.
A series of buildings across central London, including rock venue the Astoria and properties in prestigious Hanover Square, have been and will be taken over by Crossrail under compulsory purchase orders (CPOs). This will allow key stations to be developed, and could see land sold back to developers at a discount.
Great Portland Estates, the listed developer, is expected to get up to £100m for two buildings at Hanover Square to make way for a station near Bond Street. The company has negotiated a right to buy back the improved site at a discount of up to 10 per cent of its new value.
Great Portland has also offered additional land under a joint venture agreement. If this is not acc-epted, a CPO is expected in the second half of the year.
The Astoria, part of a site owned by Derwent London, will shut this week to make way for a Tottenham Court Road Crossrail station. Sources close to the project said that Derwent would get first refusal to buy back the site at a discount.
