KHOODEELAAR! the campaign defending the community in East London against the “Big Business agenda Crossrail scam” has been also campaigning on the central issues of democracy for the local people in the area. Indeed, the diagnosis that we have been exclusively making on a daily basis or over six years now of the lack of democracy as measured by the behaviour of the controlling clique on the CrossRail hole scam-inviting clique on the ‘local’ Tower Hamlets Council has been vindicated by all key events that have followed our publication and the public assertion of each of our findings. We said in February 2004 at the beginning of our campaign against Big Business agenda Crossrail hole attacks plot that we would NOT allow our community to be dug out – note the phrase, being referred to here in the past tense for the obvious reason that we have come past that point as we have STOPPED the digging of the dirt hole and then the subsidiary holes in the Brick Lane London E1 area. We articulated the reasons. Each and every ground we asserted in demanding that the Crossrail holes attacks on the East End of London be DROPPED has been vindicated during the past SIX years of our campaign by impartial universal objective criteria. We are now [at 10 February 2010] embarked on the extension of that battle which is encompassing the relevant additional aspects of the defence of the community in the East End of London. Those aspects concern the democratic rights of the population of the Borough of Tower Hamlets as expressible via an elected democratically functioning and accountable local Council.
