Khoodeelaar! No to “Big Business agenda SCAM Crossrail…” Campaign TOLD Boris Johnson so! That the London tube impasse between TfL and the ‘other companies’ and the ‘trade unions’ – covering a wide range of policy and administrative failures, shows that we have been right to assert that the office created by Tony Blair in the name of the people of London was a diverter of resource and a waster of cash. That contrary to the confidence tricks that ken Livingstone had deployed to keep himself in that post, the standard of maintenance and the standard of service of London tube and on London buses has always been poor. That the people, ordinary people, not-party-political people who need to use the public transport, have been treated with contempt by Livingstone and the ‘tradition' continues with Boris Johnson. That this is the context of our comm. Nat today that the EVIDENCE of transport needs as of today does not support the claim that ‘Crossrail’ is the property that Boris Johnson says it is. That the ‘Planning’ ‘input’ that was OTT hyped by the touts of Big Business Crossrail on Monday 14 December 2009 was a false one. That the ‘justification’ for Crossrail as boasted of, boastfully spouted by the same touts was a non-existent, fabricated, false one. That the curious self-promotion as a ‘Crossrail fanatic’ by Southwark-linked Lib Dems careerist Caroline Pidgeon is way out of line and off the rational logical track with her strange appearance as Lynne Featherstone’s ghost as a tout for CRASSrail on the London Assembly. That if this Pidgeon has been accurately reported in the past 100 hours as peddling CRASSrail then she is even more ill-advised, ill-informed, ignorant than EVEN that previous frenetic and zealous peddler for the Lib Dems of the CRASSrail scam, Lynne Featherstone ever was on the same subject and in the same touting role when she [the latter, Featherstone] was at the ‘London Assembly’ ‘promoting the Lib Dems’ ‘cause. ALL currently published and known and sound, rigorous, truthful, objective researches show that the ‘case’ for Crossrail is weak. That it is a burden than London ordinary businesses can do without. That the people trying to run small and medium sized businesses in areas south of the river Thames who too have been lumbered by Boris CRASS role levy. Have got a sting case when they say that CROSSRAIL is an n imposition. That the realization is overdue and it must dawn on Boris Johnson that it is a waste of space and resource to peddle Crossrail. That the best thing he could do and must get on with doing is to attend to the expanding crisis, the deepening crisis in the real existing transport infrastructure in and around London. Start with the Tube and also mind the buses. The manners on the buses leave a great deal to be desired…Scrap CRASS role, Scrap Crossrail. Improve the existing infrastructure, standards and service. .. As for the formlessly embarrassingly ignorant bytes being uttered by Val Shawcross at routine intervals, please, Val, get the facts right and stop being so blasé about waste , about debt and about bureaucracy.. These are serious concerns.. Quit faking it. Start to tell the truth… And the same goes fore John Biggs! Who he?! Indeed! [To be continued
