KHOODEELAAR! citing the report from the web site PUBLIC WHIP showing that on 19 July 2005 CLARE SHORT voted as a loyal member of Tony Bliar's front bench and backed the crassly conceived Big Business MIC scam Crossrail Bill and also voted for the Crossrail Bill ‘instructions’ .
The ‘instructions’ included a de facto BAN on MPs on the stooged Crossrail Bill Select Committee from looking at the evidence about whether Crossrail was needed, whether it was justified, whether it was wasteful and so on [More on this – in later updates] [2]
"Crossrail Bill — 19 Jul 2005 at 21:44
Clare Short MP, Birmingham, Ladywood voted with the majority (Aye).
The issue in this division was whether to approve the principle of Crossrail, a new cross-London railway line running east to west. Those voting Aye approved of the principle."
